Either way you've got some balls putting a video of yourself on youtube playing along to a DMB song. Really good job. Looks like you've got the left-hand lead style of playing down pretty good. No, what I love is people who think they know/or think is what is an expert drummer ( I am not an expert drummer nor do I claim to be one). But I've played drums for 10 years and been a musician for around 15 yearsish now, but this guy does have the skill, all though it may be be on an electric drum set which holds back most "true" drummers, i think he could prove himself better from a music stand point.

how do you do to record your drums? i have a roland too.... please can you tell me how you record?

Just connect audio-out port from roland module to your sound card (on PC/Laptop) in this case Roland TD3 Module which only has Audio port (LR) for all drum sounds & MIDI.

If you have TD20 Module, that's would be great coz u can have independent audio out base on your drum sound, but you need additional mixer.

Finally you must have audio processing software like Adobe Audition, Sonar, etc to start recording

Album DMB yg baru ini justru balik ke haluan awal bro, cuman lagu ini yg agak2x funky groove pop, and justru di sini si carter makin gahaaaaar bro :p

Hmmm, kalo dah pake Audio USB interface gitu sih seharusnya latencynya bisa diteken ampe 5 ms. Kata orang sih latency 5-15 itu ga kerasa buat manusia. Mungkin ada yg mesti diatur lagi kali ya? hehe. Sori nebak2, kgk punya barangnya sih.

Tp gw lumayan yakin bro kalo itu alat emang didesign buat neken latency.

yuuup... emang tascam itu didesign buat neken latency bro, and emang terbukti kok, terutama kalo bukan interface MIDI. tapi kalo midi masih kerasa bro jitiar, cuman beberapa MSec sih, tp kalo gw misalnya mainin satu lagu, diawal gak terlalu kerasa, lama2x (pertengahan lagu) kalo di gw kerasa... jadi kurang enjoy bro :) Apa karena kebetulan gw drummer yg notabene beat keeper, jd kerasa?? hahahha....

itu udah settingan max plus konsultasi ke kang beni.

well... its not that they sound bad its sounds like.....

well compare it too a song coming out of a speaker and its way too loud for the capacity of that speaker... so its fuzzy and sounds weird..

you really don't realize how good carter is and how complex the drums (for a band like DMB) are until you see it actually being played. carter really stepped his game up on this latest album.

that being said, you did a really good job covering it man. looks like its really fun to play and you did a very good job. must have taken you a lot of practice to get it.
