  • Babinga is expensive as SHIET.

  • thank you^^

  • that snare sounds terrible haha

  • Dont hit with that key.. it hurts your tama heads... so you sell more and more ;=)

  • @aburdido no it doesn't hahaha are u dumb? i can it my snare as hard as i can with a stick but taping it with a key hurts it :P sure bud think about how hard i can hit you with a drumstick then with a drum key

  • A lot of help, although I have a question. Like you said you can change the top skin to a tone which suits you best, does that apply to the bottom skin or does that need to be set to a specific tone?

  • @Massy012 yup drums always sound better and there is no exception if you tune to notes but no one can tell you what note to tune usually use intervals of minor thirds between heads it well give the least ring (usually)

  • this is alot of help cause I got that same snare you show first except I have a 6.5 x 14 & I been trying to figure out how to tune it properley cause I like to change my heads every other week so i got what Im looking for so thanks

  • @JeremyRice3 dude that's way to often mike portnoy changes his heads every 2 months if you play hard youl usually break a head 4 u need to change it on a snare i hope your not breaking a head every two weeks:P maybe u should switch to g2s ?:P

  • can u gift me d warlord snare behind u.. for bearing u :D

  • He has awful technique when playin lol, its an old fashioned style grip. French grip is what i believe its called lol

  • @kmandill8 french grip gives better speed with less wrist movement it is used very comenly by many pro drummers

  • Shouldn't you check to make sure the hoops are perfectly round and flat? If they aren't then the drum is not going to tune properly. same thing with the shell, if the shell is not perfectly round, it won't tune properly,

  • He shouldn't be using his tunning key to tap the drum head...

  • @elcucuy138 why not?

  • @elcucuy138 hi.. is there any good way to feel/see/hear whether our tuning already right? other than hitting the drum head using tunning key.. coz i saw many videos also using that tapping tunning key to check the tune.. thanks

  • that is one sexy ass snare

  • @KSMSProductions i was gonna say the same its sexy!

  • thanks maann

  • What is da name of da thing he uses to check with?

  • ahhhhhhhh yessss exactly what i was looking for....the other on youtube didnt give full detail.

  • Tams is awesome! best drums, best price, best service (period)!

  • hes breakin the reso head.

  • that tension watch is good but cheap at the same time. not in price but cheap as in durability. had 2 just break after falling over 2 inches off the ground.

  • tension watch is GREAT , i always use when i have to do a quick tuning... great tool

  • mine has hella spaceing

  • Thanks TAMA!! I've watched other snare videos, but this inspired me to take one more go on tuning before I get a new snare reso (I still need one), but the sound is much better!

  • MAN I'm glad I found this video. I have one of these snares and was dying to figure out how to tune it right!
