OMG-memories!!-Smooching and feeling so in lurve!!- Barry White always the last song of the night @ Cinderella Rockerfella's Disco, Leeds (UK)- many years ago-those were good times with good music.....
The lyrics and the smooth sexy musical arrangements thanks to Barry White & the Love Unlimited Orchestra. I can remember when I first heard this in 1970 or 1971?? Just fell in love with Glodine's voice and the sound of the melodic harmonies. Beautiful!!!
well, i guess good music is gone forever., so thankfull to have come up in the 60, 70, and 80's when it all occured. Now a days the noise these young people are making is like a death sentence about to occur , its all disrepectful and deeply disturbing, and the scary part of it is they seem to enjoy it
i am a keyboardist.. 2 weeks ago a performed in cali as opening act for the Whispers.. beautiful Glodine was backstage at our show.. i wanted to say something to her, tell her about my teenage crush, my knees were shaking!!.. she was right there all day!..such a beautiful black sister!!!
That's Barry White talking in the song. He married Glodine was it.....from the group. 1971 or 1972 I was going to a party and this played and it was a very romantic night. I met a guy I really liked.......
@david2407, I tell my youngest that all the time. My older ones listened to this type of music and don't mind listening to it along with "their' music, but my youngest absolutely won't have anything to do with this good stuff. She insists upon listening to crap.
is that Glodean in the center? Damn - we had so much FUN then, learning all the new moves on Saturday AM watching the Soul Train dancers. And seeing all the great acts of the 70s! Thanks Juancfn - for letting memory flow and letting us recall the joys of our younger days. I never realized it was Barry on the other end! Live and learn!

SOULTRAIN pls come back. There was so much more romance in those days and in their music. Maybe that is the reason divorce rate was a little lower then 2day. And if i C so many comments about the music from back in the day is considered as the real deal then how come 2days music still does not have alot of romance in it!!!
thanks for this, the other copy got pulled for "terms of use violation" whatever. the internet should be preserving these classics otherwise they rot on film.
Very cool! To see Glodean James, Linda James and Diane Taylor - Love Unlimited sing their very first hit single is DA BOMB! Of course props to DA MAN - Barry White!
@FaerieCrone man forget the music...the musical arrangement speaks for itself....but...check out these beautiful black women. They beauty bring tears to my eyes. Man they got so much class. i reckon they invented the term 'sexy'. wow..I new they existed...too bad they locked in time..hope God will release them back to the future...our time...
Seeing videos like this is what I most like about YouTube, I actually remember seeing this 1972 R&B classic on Soul Train as a little kid, this is 70's music at its finest!!
if this was 1978-79 I would be turning my tv to see don cornelius' soul train to find out the latest trends on fashion, women and soul/funk hits storming the airplays as soon as I get done with my homework!
