@canturgan As big a fan of Elton I am, I agree with you. I saw a pissed off Elton in Adelaide in 2006. He just marched through the show, bashing away at the songs and left. Just made me think when he's in tantrum mode he completely forgets we pay our hard earned money to see this petulance. There's other times over the years where he's taken out his moods on his concertgoers which really is the height of unprofessionalism.

The weather plays havoc with everything, sound, lighting, moods, atmosphere, schedules etc etc and I dare say Elton always wants to put on his best show and I guess it's like an uphill struggle fighting against the elements and he cannot get much satisfaction seeing fans cold and wet

As an Elton fan, I can no longer make excuses for his childish behaviour. Not only on stage, but his lifestyle. NOBODY needs over 300 pairs of sunglasses when we have so many homeless and hungry children on the streets. And dont give me a story about how Elton does so much charitable work. i agree, the sound crew have all day to sort the sound, if he cant hear himself he oversings nauzzes up his voice and could end up having to cance the next days show!! because he has pushed it to hard!
