Achja nochwas: Ich finde es erstaunlich wie Sarah Chalke das "r" sprechen kann. Viele Engländer und Amerikaner die Deutsch können haben trotzdem diesen Akzent mit diesem "ar", sie kann das "r" so richtig schön gurgeln. Bei einem Interview hat sie immer so gebrüllt, aber nach dem Video hier weiß ich das sie auch normal Deutsch sprechen kann ;). Hut ab, Ms. Chalke :)

Ja Sarah Chalke hat wirklich ein gutes Deutsch im Gegensatz zu den Menschen die eigentlich Deutsche darstellen sollen :P Ich gehöre auch zu den Leuten die wissen wollten wie sich das Deutsch von denen anhört, da ich bisher auch nur die deutsche Fassung gesehn hab.

btw In der deutschen Fassung sind es Dänen, keine Niederländer^^

I'm german and i looked this episode 'cause i want to hear the german actor ;). In german its a Netherlander. This actor is so bad. Elliot speaks so much better german BUT she IS american. Thats poor why don't they look for a real person who can speak german, they have everything translatet anyway.

Ich glaube hier sind sowieso viele Deutsche weil sie das original sehen wollten xD: Schlechter Schauspieler, damit wird das Deutsch so in den Schmutz gezogen.

I don't get why Amer. Sitcoms never employ Ger. actors for German-speaking roles. Sorry, I love Scrubs but isn't it ridiculous that a guy who is supposed to not understand English-speaking people can talk English better than German? For what it's worth, I sometimes hardly understood a word the sick guy said, and I am German..

But kudos for Elliot, she speaks fine :D Though with Conan O'Brien she made it sound like Germans would constantly talk like shouting to each other like a Nazi sergeant :D

@davna90 Because I would assume most people that watch Scrubs in english, me included, don't understand or speak german and so can't really tell if they're speaking it poorly or not. ^^ The brothers were only in one episode, so it probably just had to do with ease of casting more than anything else.

ps. I love when Elliot speaks in german! She also speaks in french in one episode if I'm not mistaken.. I wonder if Sarah knows french in real life too..? <3

@davna90 The Brothers: Soren Hellerkrup and Ingo Neuhaus. Those dont sound american to me. Maybe they are danish/dutch. But i am sure that the casting director couldnt have told the different. i don't understand why europeans expect us to know and differentiate every language, every cultural idiosyncrasy of the various european nations when we dont interact with your people daily. Would you be able to accurately cast a Kenyan vs a Somalian? Stop being so eurocentric
