The c-stick should be renamed the cheap-stick. It removes the added skill of having to simultaneously tilt the joystick in a given direction and hit the A button. It also seems like c-stick smash attacks are initiated quicker in comparison to smashing the old fashioned way.

Ike is currently ranked like 25th out of 37 characters in the tier list (low end of middle tier).

Metaknight can be ridiculous because he has no bad match-ups, little to no lag, amazing recovery (which can kill you if you try to edgeguard), and high priority.

Snake on the other hand has solid counter characters, has a rather slow ground game, although he does have some ridiculous hitboxes on say his U-tilt.

Basically, stfu scrub.

Marth: Needs to shorthop and attack more, too much time is spent on the ground. Random attacks are charged too much and leaves you very exposed. Counter is spammed to the point where it becomes somewhat predictable and more hurtful than beneficial. Smashes a bit too much as well.

Meta Knight: Needs to find a better opponent.

Meta Knight played a solid game. Marth needs improvement.

dude, dont use counter like ALL the time. u don;t even know the correct timing. u would do more damage if u actually know how to avoid attacks and strike when an opportunity comes. by using counter and missing that leaves an obvious chance for that person to kill you. ur not quick enough either...

Both these characters have great air attacks, so dont be afraid to get airborne. Marth could also grab more and have a more psychological game. Fake out your opponent. Switch directions for no reason, etc.

Meta seemed afraid to utilize the wings. Remember you have five jumps and your upspecial or sidespecial can get you even MORE air. Follow through when you knock someone off the ledge and make sure they dont come back. you can use your remaining air moves to get back to land.

Marth- use more shortjump fairs and nairs and dairs, and make combos out of them. And use sworddance! was it used once??

tons of times ive done a great counter just as someone was about to slap me during a recovery

of course its not recommended but uve got to make the opponent think twice

and yeah i prefer to actually grab the edge to stop someone recovering, but u use the counter if they've already grabbed the edge and are about to attack as they come up

but really its best not to use counter much and to just throw it in when they arent expecting it

I don't know about you guys but I'm sure I didn't see any of Player 2/Marth's counter attacks work successfully at all, and whoever you are kind of need to practice a bit more. Besides Marth is one of my favorite character in Brawl, to be honest Marth has very good moves and combos that he's able to use, you just gotta use them better and make an improvement.
