I see it was posted three years ago and it took a friend of mine in the Northern UK to send it to me. Having seen it I have faith in country music again.
I bought the first CD about 15 years ago. Found it in my inventory. Listened to it. Bought three more CDs. Love this guy. I don't consider him country. To me he is gentle rock.
"Life Down Here On Earth" & his self-titled album are two of my all time favorite CD's. This guy is as under--rated in his genre as Steelheart is in theirs.
I posted a copy of this on 11 August 2007 and ran up 4,072 views to date. I didn't notice you'd posted this one which is a much cleaner copy of course. Thanks for the song. I'll take mine down now, since I presume this is an officaial site. p.s. Why isn't Tammy Rogers credited on this?
Me too 1997 on CMT - wish we could still get CMT! Always loved this song it raises the spirits. Just found it again after all this time on You tube - thanks to the post. What a lovely smile , too.
One of the best! Wish we heard more from Kevin and I love that song. The first one I heard by him was Something Bout You Babe. Got every record since! Ready for another one. : )
Absolutely brilliant !!!!!!!!

Saw him at the Lone Star in Manhattan in 1990/91. Was breaking in with first album. He was tremendous. Thinking man's country.
