  • Iggy laughed his way all the way home.

  • Stephane Dion got reelected in his district. Ignatieff lost to a conservative.

  • A just to say this isn't Ignaceff this is Stephane Dion!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why is this asshole even laughing... a worse leader than Dion

  • what a goof bastard

  • Hum...Just to say...Everyones laughting!!!

  • Ignatieff is a moron, he's pathetic. I'd like to thank him for thoroughly fucking Canada harder than any other leader in history.

  • @bradbradbradbrad actually.. he isn't a moron and is really smart. The guy was the lead prof of Politics at Harvard University. He didnt fuck canada at all, seeing how he never became PM.. You should brush up on your ignatieff history... I'm not even a huge ignatieff promoter or anything, but your message was just overflowing with ignorance. Check yourself.

  • 24 seats? er....more like 34.. JUST SAYIN. I met Ignatieff and hes a wonderful man. Not gonna lie, if I was hime,...I probably would have laughed too...if something is funny...somethings funny :P

  • Ironic. Ignatieff might have laughed at Dion back then... but Dion's probably laughing at Ignatieff now saying "ha! at least I did a better job!". Dion might have lost 23 seats but Ignatieffs lost of 43 seats which is the greatest loss in Canadian Liberal Party history. Ignatieff can't expect to come back to Canada and instantly become PM regardless of how educated one is. Unfortunately for Ignatieff, all he wanted; to be PM.

    I guess that's Karma.

  • @Nelmistro Not exactly... as he said... he had the chance to become a Prime Minister via a coalition and turned it down. You're right that Dion must be laughing now as Ignatieff really wasn't ready for life in politics and was a bad leader.

  • douche

  • this is disgraceful

  • this is disgusting, its like theres a bunch of kindergarten students in the backround. I was always taught to be respectful of what people have to say. This is not what politics should be like.

  • @DylanMLucas1 The worst part is that those people laughing and making fun of him are some of his OWN MPs! Including Michael Ignatieff!!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm really sad that Ignatieff resigned.

I think he would of been a great leader because unlike many candidates, he actually has charisma.

Sad to see you go Iggy!

  • @Courtcourtcourtsmith He also treats his younger brother like shit. Not my kind of guy.

  • @Courtcourtcourtsmith - What else was he do do? The Liberals were reduced to 24 seats, the worst election result in their history. It will takes years for them to rebuilt. Iggy just didn't resonate with the people.

  • RISE UP!!!......and get a BEATDOWN!! =(

  • Hell I'll vote for the NDP if it means the end to the seperatist pigs!

  • WOW BRAVO Ignatieff, your French is not better. No Respect to his chief, so how do you think people will respect U.

  • WOW BRAVO Ignatieff, your French is not better.

  • Do you want your kid in jail? If so, vote conservative.

  • Iggy looks like a 13 year old who cracked one off behind the teacher's back

  • NOT PROUD OF YOU MISTER IGNATIEFF FOR MAKING FUN OF YOUR OWN LEADER EVEN THOUGH I ADMIT HE WAS PRETTY WEAK... I SAW YOU MISTER IGNATIEFF SPEAKING YOUR WEAK STUPID FRENCH IN THE FRENCH DEBATE ON TV, WE COULD MAKE FUN OF YOU TOO!

  • THATS POLITICIANS: A BUNCH OF CLOWNS WEARING TIES OR CAN BE COMPARED TO SOME RETARDED TEENAGERS IN HIGH SCHOOL MAKING FUN OF OTHERS, HOW SMART!

  • Anyone who believes in Politics is a fuctard. Its all a charade meant to distract us from whats really going on. Policiticans are puppets. They don't run Canada, the Bank of Canada does. Its a privately run company that masks itself as a Goverment agency. They own the national debt, therefore they own Canada, just like the bank owns your house. Look up fractional reserve banking. See whats really going on. We're all slaves. Harper is the least of our worries, and we need to take back control.

  • Dion sounds like Peter Sellers in any Inspecter Clouseau movie - except Sellers was talented and respected. Ignatieff is as bad at leadership as Dion was. His skills exist only in books and teaching at Ivy league schools. "Man of the people"? Neither one of these guys are at all.

  • Even the froggies laugh at that...

  • He has a speech defect and English isn't his first language, bunch of assholes on both sides. I'm a conservative and I think those MPs should have shut their mouths. And why doesn't Ignatieff have any respect for his own Party mate. I'm ashamed of all our MPs

  • @Apophis150 ... maybe the liberal party should have picked a leader who could actually have SPOKEN SOME FUKIN ENGLISH! I'll admit, Dion was a very educated man and very promenant in accedemia but he was an abysmal failure to his party. The liberals were in power for over a decade until he showed up. so im sitting at home having a great big laugh at his expence. haw haw haw!

  • harper is our only real chance imo, I don't agree with EVERYTHING but I agree with a hell of a lot more than any other party..and I'm not even looking at liberals, they fked up big time and from what I see now, they are in no way capable of managing canada

  • I swear .. he's trying to hold back the giggles.

  • I thought Dion was cool. Just because his accent was a little strong didn't bother me. Hey vive le Quebec eh. :)

  • bahaha what a DUD. The only way out in this is election is to go with the Conservative Party. VOTE STRONG

  • These grown adults act like 5 year olds on a playground arguing over a pudding cup. Honestly wheres the sanity at?

  • BRING DION BAAACK, who am I supposed to vote for now? The Conservatives are cruel, Ignatieff doesn't give jack shit about Canada/Canadians, Jack Layton would spend waaay too much money, and no one else has a chance to get in. Dion, coome baaack. *

  • @Suki278 Fuck your dick. Harper for life man.

  • Don't know who I am voting for..but its not going to be Liberal...can't stand Ignatieff. He seems very arrogant from the few interviews I have seen him in.

  • I want camera's on the back benchers.

Their conduct LPC,CPC,NDP,BLQ are all pathetic.

The same done with the Senate.

  • Glad our fucking tax dollars are paying such a serious group of people, what a joke

  • If you agree it is wrong for the government to vote itself in, then please dont vote for ndp, lib, bloc. It is wrong to force yourself in power

  • My paycheque funds all these douches wardrobes. Thats depressing.

  • Ignatieffs a typical zionist.

  • honestly, I think if Dion's english was better, things might have been different

  • Stephane Dion has good intentions despite being misguided. Ignatieff just wants to destroy the country.

  • It really should be a prerequisite that a leader of a Canadian political party at least speak understandable english.Dion may be a nice guy, but jeez

  • Why is it the liberal party has so many weak leaders trying for that job.

  • Count Ignatieff to Dion: "WE DIDN'T GET IT DONE!"

    Ignatieff-Bush's lapdog!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dion and Iggy two of the worst leaders of the Liberal Party in history.

  • Wow, talk about disloyalty! Iggy can barely keep a straight face back there. On the other hand, it WAS Dion who was talking, so maybe I should cut Iggy some slack?

  • What a little prick, but he is still the lesser evil compared to Harper.

  • The Joker and the King...!!!!!

  • Paul Zed looking a little tired there in the back lol

  • Hypothetical....

Dion announces publicly his wish to Lead again.....without a convention.

could he pull it off and de throne Iggy?

thumbs up - Dion dies twice.

  • stephan dion was the forest gump of canadian politics.

  • @viper10011FORREST GUMP OR NOT, DION WAS RIGHT. A carbon tax coupled with a sharp reduction in income tax would have been a crucial first step in saving the planet. By taxing carbon emissions. By tying carbon output to markets. It would have worked. AND it would have begun to reverse globalization & and bring jobs back home. See its not so cheap to hire sweated labor in Asian factories when you have to pay a carbon tax to transport cheap goods across half the world. But the Tories killed it.

  • @viper10011 He's actually extremely educated.

  • @viper10011 cept forest accomplished a lot stephan crashed and burned

  • @hyperman84 jack laton and iggy are stuck in a boat thats sinking who gets saved?

    Answer=Canada hahahahahaha.

  • @viper10011 Yet he is probably one of the smartest and highly educated politicians this country has ever seen.

  • haha stupid youtubers, if your not on here to rant then I am not talking to you, but all you adults who are complaining on here get a life! Like seriously some people should have tooken high school more seriously.

  • liberals=pussys.

  • viper10011 = illiterate

  • if you notice, everyone's smiling even the liberals, when he's speaking

  • They are all rich elite laughing at us, as we use the illusion of voting...Canada's government has been bought and paid for, just like the USA...

  • What a douche..thank god that embarrassment for a politician never made on any political level...fucking LIB nut cases!

  • Now Iggy is the one standing and Rae is sitting behind him laughing.

  • How many people did Stephan Dione have to blow,in order to get elected leader?

He is in his own little world

  • Ah,u see, it was not just Iggy smiling, I see alot of Lib M'P's doing the hemroid shuffle here,as their 'dear leader' speaks. Face it Lib faithful,Dion was a true gift from your party to Harper et al.Come to think of,so is Iggy.Iggy won't pull the plug on this government,he has no reason to,for the simple fact that he is really a red Tory!Look at the voting record before responding, its true. Thanks Iggy, and thanks Bob for the coronation!

  • Those were pretty funny days.

  • "Do you like paying taxes? No? Vote conservative. We have no idea what else we want to change or how we plan to pay for things but nobody likes taxes, so vote for us."

  • @loucious22 this is a lot of crap. This Conservative government has delivered on many important issues to Canadians.Lower taxes, tougher crime legislation, the Accountability Act,electoral reform, environmental reform and better management of the economy.Oh,the $58B deficit? It will be retired in the promised time of 5 years. Can't control a world wide recession now can we?Instead, our country came out shining compared to the rest!

  • @loucious22 Best part is they were the ones who introduced more tax back in the day.

  • @loucious22 haha. So true. Lowest common denominator style politics. That's all they know.

And this Conservative government was heading towards a deficit before the economic crisis. The only reason Canada is "shining" after this crisis is because of the Liberal banking regulations it passed in opposition to the calls of the Cons to open the banking system. If the Cons were in power at that time we would have been in Iraq and we would have had to bail out our banks. It's really quite clear.

  • Dion was a tool. Iggy turned out to be a lame duck as well.

  • This may be the only thing I agee with iggy on. Dion was a fool.

  • Socialism is like fascism a disease that needs to be eradicated. Fucking socialist supporters always looking for a handout... Useless

  • the time for free-for-all capitalism has passed, socialism is the future

  • Socialism is the inherent virtue of failure..

It means bigger government, and less freedom.

Detroit is a prime example of left wing policy at work...

Socialism only works for the "entitlement class.. the welfare class

  • @SwifTst. You make no sense. Failure has virtues? Why are you making comments about socialism on this video anyway? What does Socialism have to do with environmental policy in this setting? Why does socialism mean bigger government (and what do you mean by "bigger"). And if freedom is what you want than why don't you live in a country with no government structure. I'm sure you'll enjoy being bullied by warlords in some third world nation. If you think welfare is so great, why not quit your job?

  • LOL 1:09 -- watch what iggy does with his right hand...LOL the best thing one can do with that guy is keep him off camera...

  • I want to become an MP just so I can get tossed for KO ing one of those loud ignorant bastards

  • Parliment in like a childrens playground. Maybe an 'adult' should come down and smack them upside their heads.

  • I have no idea what Dion is saying here. At least with Jean Chretien, you could tell what he was saying when he spoke English.

  • @mikelowry5 fuck both of them. There dyke whole bitches. Were are the good old days of St. Laurent or Pearson?

  • ignatieff just couldn`t help himself. I`d be doing the same thing.

  • You like the idea of socialism? Move to China. And a move to the USA wouldn't help; especially if Obama gets his way. America will be the USSA

  • you have no idea what your talking about reforming health care isint anything close to communism. America spends more on health care than European countries do providing virtually everything to everyone look at charts of health care spending

  • @zxcvbnmjhgfdsa1 I never said a thing about healthcare.. numb nuts

  • back-stabbing liberal petty crooks...it was a case of blind greed mixed with confusion when you follow anyone who appears to "look" like a leader...but all they got was a professor-novelist-adventurer-american...looks good on the liberals. they should die the death that the conservatives earned when mulroney left the sinking ship to kim campbell. of course, once the liberals are gone there will be the block and reform parties left. two regional entities...quebec will be next to go...

  • Bon Rae is doing the same thing to Iggy right now.

  • This video turned me on IGNATIEFF for good! Laughing at your own MEMBER! if the Liberals want a chance they should consider putting in little TRUDEAU than they might have a chance! I do not know why they would elect IGNATIEFF! STEPHEN DION seemed to be a sweet man just had problems speaking english? To me it's the same thing as making fun of sombody with a disability!

  • ing a Liberal is a disability. being a Liberal is supporting socialism

  • well I like the idea of socialism that what canada is! If you want capitalism move to USA!

  • martin stabbed chretien in the back...ignatieff stabbed dion in the back...liberals are petty crooks and back stabbers... they're done...

  • for the west, it was environmental policy. the carbon tax would damage alberta's economy, if not pull them down into the recession (just like the NEP did in the 80s). generally westerners stick up for other westerners b/c its often felt that the west gets ripped off--a lot (over lack of influence).

And frankly if the carbon tax would have pulled all of canada down deeper in recession (just look up the NEP). If the recession was bigger, there would be fewer tax dollars which = less investment

  • (2nd post) in environmental reform. so its not that the west was against reform (although some were) but it was mostly about keeping canada strong to obtain environmental reform.

I personally think that the conservatives should have kept the sales tax at 7% and used the extra money to invest in clean energy projects country-wide, but thats another topic.

  • @dwall57

I can see your point of view however, I think the Conservatives made a good choice for cutting the GST I think it is time we get a little break somewhere in this over taxed nation! I also think that Green energy is the wave of the future and the Conservatives are ignoring that! I would never like to see Mr. Harper as a Majority government, I like him just where he is, I don't trust the man as far as I can throw him!

  • The conservatives cut the GST at the WORST possible time. Look up economic theory - Harper did it to fulfill a campaign promise, a promise he should have NEVER made considering his education is in economics. A first year taking an intro to econ course will tell you that sales tax cuts will stimulate the economy. When he cut taxes, the GDP was growing at record levels. Harper must have known what he was doing considering his background. He does not have Canada's best interests at heart.

  • @0katieface0 yet we are one of the only worlds economic superpowers that came out unphased and in fact shining through a global recession.

  • @SuperColossal33 - So what? Most experts would say it was due to our banking system, not our short term fiscal policy, which was clearly lacking.

  • The liberals days are over! Everyone one is sick of their Marxist bullshit. Immigration has to stop during this economic downturn. Liberals want to keep minorities coming in so they get the minority vote, regardless what it does to the employment numbers. Liberals are selfish evil bastards. They could care less what happens to the country 20 years from now.

  • Harper will get his Majority of +3 to +7........Liberals suck

  • Dion was a laughing stock for the Liberals. But I hate to say this Iggy your no better, he who laughs first laughs last. Don't look over your shoulder there's another monkey wanting your job.

  • Tories set to survive confidence vote

By Martin Ohanlon, THE CANADIAN PRESS The Liberals say they will table a non-confidence motion in the Commons today and they expect to see a vote on Thursday. THE CANADIAN PRESS/Adrian Wyld

Will Ignatieff ever become PM? OTTAWA - They're huffing and puffing, but it appears the Liberals don't have the strength to blow down the Harper government.

    -------

Ain' t that a shame? lol Isn' t there a " 3 strikes you' re out" rule somewhere?

  • Harper And Conservatives FTW!

  • Ignatieff go back to England.

  • Funny how both Dion' s Green Shift and the Green Party plan look like it was copied and pasted from the communist party website.

  • Stephan Dione actually had some great ideas on policies. Personally I do not think he should have been leader at any point, but I think His "green shift plan" should have been taken way more seriously. If you look at the details compared tot he green parties plan, it was ALOT less crazy, and more manageable. I hope Canada gets passed titles, gets passed the Conservative Parties attack adds, and focus on a new, experienced, positive leader willing to stand up for Canada.

  • What a great comment.. A bilingual friend told me that Dion is a very intelligent man who came across as awkward because of his difficulties expressing himself in English.

  • @limduul I agree but I dont like a carbon tax idea. BC has a carbon tax that make gas go up 1.5 cents a year every July 1st. BC actually had the highest rate of CO2 increase of any provence since enacting it. Its really just another tax that gives Canadians less disposable income.

I voted against Dion and I dont regret it. But I think he should have been treated better by the media, opponents and even his own party. Iggy is a pompous ass who will never be PM.

  • @limduul He was a complete idiot

  • @gopconservative78 i thought he was pretty smart....the thing is conservatives are intimidated by intellectual liberal elites like ignatieff and dion

  • @limduul Dion would have been a great leader if it was not for his poor english and weak stature

  • @cjarcus

    Stephane Dion is nice guy...

He's the type of guy that you would want to babysit your kids, when in need

He's the type of guys that you see working at the Soup Kitchen on Christmas Day

He's the type of guy, who would help an little old lady cross the street

Sadly, he's also the type of guy who would get shoved into the locker in high school...

That's exactly what Harper did to him...

I still think he would have made a sincere, caring and honest leader.

  • @gundamWWW WE LET HARPER SHOVE DION INTO A LOCKER. We said nothing when Conservative attack ADS smeared Mr Dion's character & mocked his accent. We let the Tories & their allies in the media make Dion--who fought for & got the The Clarity Act for us--so we could never be held hostage again in vaguely worded referendum--we let them make Dion out to be a wimp. What was the man supposed to do? You tell me. This election we need to reject the Tory smear machine. They think we're stupid. Are we?

  • @gundamWWW lol :D i know its mean but i laughed soo hard at your comment. about the locker thing,

  • @gundamWWW you are obviously not one of dion's constituents, or have ever worked under him -- his reputation in quebec is one of ego-maniacal-dictator -- not a nice guy, but a my-way-or-the-highway type

  • @gundamWWW what we need is a true leader not a nice guy someone who'll back up his own platform and not buckle under the pressure and it seems to me he would quite easily have buckled under. Well just look at the 2008 election he brought himself down. There was no need for attacks ads really. He made himself look bad. As nice guys go he'd take the cake as leaders go he'd be skinned alive.

  • @gundamWWW , funny but getting shoved into a highschool locker is the way that I view Harper as well.

I guess that Ignatieff is not laughing now.

  • @GuyOrrEspo

Dion got shoved into the Locker, Ignatieff got beat up the fight behind in the playground by the swings (that was a huge loss in the election).

I'm waiting to see what will happen to the next Liberal leader or to see if he/she will fight back.

  • @gundamWWW

He might have been nice, but he was sure as hell not fit to lead Canada.Just because someone may seem nice, doesnt mean he is smart or fit to lead anything.

  • @gundamWWW i dont disagree, he's a very nice person. the issue was he didn't have the stones, the stern a-holeness to pull together a barely pulled together party and couldnt convince the house. adieu stephan dion!

  • @gundamWWW Hell, NO.

  • @limduul Looking back, I think I was probably too hard on Stephan Dion. I think he should have worked on his communication skills, but he seems like a man of integrity who got a bad break. Michael Ignatieff appears indecisive and even malicious. I am still angry about the fact that my NDP vote got counted towards a coalition I did not want, though. I will remain Conservative until another party shows me a decent platform. Michael Ignatieff has fail to come up with plausible alternatives.

  • @limduul He was an intellect. Too bad, The elections happened just when the financial crisis started in the US. Harper , as always, played on the fear factor and his campaign was, "let's not take risks". Nobody was willing to think Green in such times.

I hope things will change in this election (2011).

  • @hussein00 Fuck your dick. Harper for life man.

  • @limduul The ONLY reason I refuse to support Ignatiaf (fuck his name) is he wants to cancel the CF-35 fighter deal. It is yet another example of liberals fucking over our military.

  • @russellrush101

The liberals don't want to cancel the CF-35 deal, they just wont to know how much it will cost canadians ant then make a decision because we can't spend large sums of money like that without knowing where we are heading. The conservatives refuse to reveal the total cost of the deal to the public.

  • @limduul Agreed 100% the only reason I voted Liberal last election was because their platform was so progressive bc of dion.

  • Despite their names liberalism is different from the Liberal Party, and conservatism is different from The Conservative party. Both parties believe in different ideologies as a whole though, and I encourage people to pay closer attention to the actually Parliament Debates and policies/broken promises. Know your facts before posting or voting please, its ruining the system.

  • And both are socialists, not conservatives.

  • And Iggy will be raising taxes MUCH higher to fund MUCH bigger gov't.

  • sympaticodotca

Who will you vote for if an election is called?

  • Ignatieff Tax Gaffe Outs Liberal Agenda: Obamanation North By Vander Doelen Thu, Apr 16 2009

You might have missed it this week, but a slip from Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff (had it been a Tory, the media would have dubbed it a "gaffe") revealed what he and his team are likely to when they get back in power. Which, let's be honest, is inevitable at some point.

They're going to raise federal taxes, and sharply, he told an audience in Waterloo.

  • Ignatieff backpedals on possibility of tax rise

Last Updated: Wednesday, April 15, 2009 | 9:06 PM ET The Canadian Press

Michael Ignatieff denied Wednesday that he had earlier said he would raise taxes to pay off a soaring federal deficit — but he's not entirely ruling out such a move either

  • Michael Ignatieff's tax talk taking toll, poll finds

Updated Thu. Apr. 23 2009 1:18 PM ET

    The Canadian Press

OTTAWA -- A new poll suggests Michael Ignatieff's musings about potential tax increases could hurt his efforts to build Liberal support across the country -- except in Quebec.

  • Ignatieff is a common piece of dirt. He spent 3 decades out of Canada and now he wants to run the place. He's an typical arrogant Liberal. In fact, he's typically arrogant like the Conservatives and NDP. I hope someone shoots the son of a bitch.

  • You get laid much? Rhetorical question.

  • Unfortunately, there's still another Trudeau in politics waiting in the wings....

  • i don't mean to shatter your views, but every single piece of economic teaching proves that Trudeau was one of the WORST prime ministers ever to lead Canada. he gave loads of free shit with taxpayers dollars, and put us in a mountain of debt. who was to blame? mulroney! when he did everything in his power to relieve Canada of its debt

  • Glad we're in agreement.

  • lol im glad that im not the only liberal hating canadian alive

  • Hopefully none of Trudeaus children have any interest in getting involved in politics, wryly commented Jim Hughes, president of Campaign life Coalition. It is sick that this young man would have the gall to defend a mass murderer whose actions and ideals go against everything that a sane democratic society believes in. Is this what Pierre taught his son?

  • In his piece, entitled "the last days of the patriarch", Sacha recognizes the controversy that surrounds the statesman, but gently dismisses the cries of Cubans struggling under the weight of a totalitarian government and abject poverty as the complaints of restless children under the eyes of a disciplinarian father figure.

  • By John Jalsevac

Canada, August 15, 2006 (LifeSiteNewsdotcom) To celebrate communist dictator Fidel Castros 80th birthday, this past Sunday the Star newspaper printed a lengthy piece by Alexandre (Sacha) Trudeau, in which the young man lovingly describes the Cuban dictator as a benevolent disciplinarian father figure, calling him something of a superman.

  • There are other parties you know...

Liberals = scam artists who rip off the taxpayers.

Conservatives = yes men to the USA

NDP = well, you get that little guy who can't think for himself and has a pornstach. They need a new leader.

Green Party = Elizabeth May. Can't hurt to try her out.

Make the right choice. This is a dice, not a coin. There are more then two sides.

  • You forgot the Bloc and and May is a blow hole who can't even win a seat, it really is time for the Green Party to find someone who carries a bit more weight with their voice.

  • Oh, and at the wise old age of 20 I guess you weren't around to know/remember Trudope. Another Marxist who raised his kids to sing the praises of uncle Fidel Castro. Literally!

  • What proof do you have that Trudeau is a Marxist? I'm interested into seeing all the Marxist principles adopted by Trudeau during his over 15 years in office. Also, provide proof of the younger Trudeau's "singing the praises of Fidel Castro". Why I consider him mediocre with the financial part of the country, the number of things he implemented and the relationships he created while in office have defined the Canadian identity to what it is today.

  • Canadians haven't forgotten the Lieberals were the most scandal-ridden party in Canadian history. And most of the major players are still around. Scandal after scandal. And all their cronies in place to investigate and declare them innocent before the next scandal.

  • WHO rang up the bulk of Canada's debt? TRUDEAU!

WHO's idea did Martin implement concerning paying down the defecit: Preston Manning's idea.

HOW did Martin do it? ROBBED the bloated EI fund.

WHO signed on to the current defecit, along with ALL the opposition? : IGGY lol.

WHO lived in the US and identifies with it, before moving back here lusting for power: IGGY again.

WHO's poll numbers tanked when he suggested cranking up taxes: IGGY-baby.

  • And this nutty pro. talks of fixing the country. With what, his vast political experience?LOL

The Lieberals struggle to manage their party's own books to stay in the clear.

It's nice to have a good stretch now without scandal after boondoggle in the headlines.

  • Its funny because canada run multiple years of surplus under liberal rule.

The conservatives ruined it all. They ruined Canada. A vote conservative is a vote to change Canada to another US state..... Its sad.. watching your beloved country slowly being absorbed by greedy americans, and all the conservatives care about is trying to speed up the process. Vote for Canadian independance man..

  • I'm RIGHT! :)

  • Iggy, you're abondoned kids want you to phone home! Remember them??

  • You're pathetic.

  • It looks like the Liberals are trying to acheive power, again. This is the third time in one year. That's pretty ambitious, especially since it's the most economically unstable year in decades and we seem to be doing better than most countries. I love a good election, but now is not the time.

  • Couldn't agree more. CANADIANS! Please vote conservative, or our country could end up as the new Soviet Union's largest state.

  • Or you know we can return to being Canadian... and revert away from american rule.. I dont know about all you "nationalist" but it seems pretty obvious that the tories just wanna bend canadian culture and change it to an american one... its sad really...

  • iggy is a power hungry bastard that doesn't give a shit about canada or canadians.

, i vote liberal provincially, but not on a federal level because the last bunch of leaders they've had have been... dare i say it... even worse than stephan harper in their 'motives' really...

  • Fascist? lol. The left have that, too. Look at Obama! Don't you realize "Nazi" is German for National Socialist? Gov't healthcare, gov't ownership of corporations, banks.

Iggy walked out on family. And walked into Canada only for power. If he came back to serve in other capacities first, you'd have an arguement. He only came back when offered a shot at top job. Definitely not a statesman. Pure self-interest.

  • Nobody knows where Iggy stands on issues, other than that he stands with the marxist/lennonists in the opposition.

NEVER trust a politician, particular when they hide their views and intentions.

CBC had to give this clown a makeover, showing him talking softly and eating toast/jam. Still he let slip he thinks Canada IS the Lieberal Party, not Canadian CITIZENS!

  • He stands with the Marxist-Leninists?

He can't be that bad then.

At least he doesn't stand with fascists in the government anymore.

  • I hold no Party Loyality and I see myself as a PROGRESSIVE. As to Dion's English well I'll take a Shiity English speaking French CANADIAN over a Bush Loving Zionist prick like IGGY any day. Dion at least had NEW Ideas to bring to the Table. All the Liberal Party have Proven is it's the Party of Backstabbin' CAMPS each with their CAMP WHORE Followers and they will NEVER again get my or my Family's VOTE again. The Green Party will now get those votes for I won't Vote 4 IGGY's Liberals.

  • The media was extremely harsh on Dion, I'd feel more comfortable voting for him than Ignatieff.

  • Global chaaanj.....CHANGE! CHANGE!

  • I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Ignatieff was minding his own business and then somebody from across the floor yelled "Oh Iggy!" and it made him laugh.

  • Dion was right. Always was. Should have stuck with him.
