  • Awesome! My comment is right above the one he reads initially :D

  • Hey Eric, after getting tired of being a mechanic I had a break for about 7 years and went into I.T. After watching your videos for the past 6 or so months I started to get my buzz back about cars and so at the start of the year I got a job at a local tyre & battery place doing tyre fitting, battery replacement, servicing and wheel alighnments. Thanks for giving me the love of working with cars back to me. Keep up the good work.

  • Fords suck they are to dam hard to work on

  • Ouch no heat in those parts mean the plumber should have used type l pipe then if solder correct it would not have frozzen.

  • 0:44 "Now, I'm f- yeh, I know, that's cool." lollllllll

  • hey eric i gotta rebuild my garrett VNT-17/22 turbo on my 2002 Seat leon sport as the seals are shot and the vnt is stuck.. planning on fitting a front mount intercooler and a straight through exhaust.. its currently sitting at 250hp & 330ft lbs.. not bad for a slightly modified 1.9 4 cyl.. gotta love performance diesels :D

  • That piston is sweet!

And I think you should alternate between repair fatrs and regular fatrs.

  • How am I today? Well for the first time in a while, we actually got some snow. So I decided to bust out my 86' Cherokee for the bad roads. Little did I know, my Four Wheel Drive wasn't going to work because of some Vacuum lines. Good times working in the wet snow, in the middle of nowhere, stuck in a ditch! Anyways, I enjoy the vids! I learn something new every time!

  • Very interesting fatr! Great job Eric!

  • balls - deep - in? huh ? a gook? ooooooooooohhhhhhh lol thats awesome. Good times man

  • @nicholas0142003 Haha, I chuckled. Plus Aviano AB is an Air Base...air force. I realized no one would get that right about the time he read it. Stupid military jargon.

  • I do a lot of plumbing, and I would highly recommend replacing it all in PEX line, it is much stronger and easier to replace than PVC

The other night my girlfriend and I replaced both rear wheel bearing hubs assymblies on her 2000 neon, and I'm quite proud of my girlfriend she even did the bulk of the work on one of the sides! I love the feeling of diagnosing and issue and fixing the issue and seeing her so happy becuase now her car doesnt sound like a small airplane taking off down the road!

  • How am I? Frustrated, had to order parts off of ebay, as NO one local carries anything for 85 CRX's anymore, go figure. So ordered clutch and timing belt / water pump kit same day, same company, got clutch today and timing belt kit has yet to even ship..... How is your day Eric?

  • I want to see something like vlogging from you kinda like just like this i what im doing today. You could do it lonce a week or how ever many days you want i would really enjoy that Eric.

  • Feeling pretty good today because I managed to fix the heater problem today on my '00 GMC Jimmy 4.3L. After I watched both your videos on "Bleeding a Cooling System" AND the "Backflushing a Heatercore" video, The Jimmy went from Luke warm heat to Holy moly I got to roll the window down! I don''t have a decent compressor so I used a "Wet Jet" from the "As Seen on TV" store to fit the hose & with some CLR type product, I got a ton of sludge out of the heater core. Thanks for those videos Eric.

  • @Michiganborn1969 Btw, Wish I had made a video but it was raining and my video editing program still is not working right.

  • awesome fatr! love the change up of vids suggested etc

  • You're an awesome teacher where do you teach that's where I want to go

  • man oh man thanks for the great link to the autozone video's. the dude in those videos used to have his own tv show on the DIY network. it was the greatest car ( TV ) repair show ever...

  • If American car parts are expensive in Italy, I wonder if Lamborghini car parts are cheap down there.

  • @moofushu i dont think there cheap anywhere!

  • Eric, Another fine FATR! A bid of plumbing advice: Find a plumber that needs some automotive help and trade your skills to replace the absolutely crapola plastic pipes in your shop. Or insist that the landlord get things fixed. I perceived lots of kludge plumbing in your intro. Not that I haven't done the same thing myself. IMHO, dump the plastic, and replace with copper. And address the freezing problem.

  • @docdavidb The only reason the pipes seem to have come apart is that no plastic inserts have been used in the ends. They reinforce and stop the pipes collapsing , so they stay inside the push-fit joints. The pipes also need to be insulated or a frost heater fitted to that room so it switches on at 2c! There is nothing wrong with plastic pipe if fitted correctly. Copper splits easier than plastic and is far more expensive...

You don't sound qualified to give plumbing advice anyway!
