i have one on order and they are being made in usa now cuz of japans factory messups.they will be better quality from us and mahogany is nice but heavy as fuck and gives you shoulder ache when gigging lots its still a lush guitar and i will play the shit out of it when it finnally gets here

if you want a more modern tone i guess mahogany is okay, but i prefer the classic sound of 80s thrash guitars...which were mostly made of alder or basswood.

I think there was some problems with constructing the neck.. So they are partly making it in the USA now..
