  • Beautiful! Thank you very much.

  • @kazhmenez Greetings from Malta. Thank you indeed for the compliments. Glad you enjoyed it.

    Warm regards,

    Jasmine

  • Rahal twelidi ma ninsieh qat. Kburi li jien min Hal-Lija. Prosit ta dan is slideshow hekk sabieh.

  • @tonizuz Thank you very much for your kind appreciation. We visited Hal-Lija several times and had attended the Feast of Our Saviour several times. We just upload one video about the beautiful Feast of Lija. We will send you our Master Link on a separate message as on the comment section, live link is disabled by Youtube.

    War regards from Mosta,

    Jasmine

  • an excellent video, well done, maria

  • Thank you very much Maria for caring to comment. Please share the link with your friends. Let's show them how beautiful Lija and all of Malta and Gozo are.

  • Thank you for your kind comments and suggestions. We wish to clarify that the concept of each our video is mostly based on touris purpose and thus only showing the highlights of the places of interest within the village which we wish to encourage, especially the tourists to visit the village e.g. a "Heritage Walk" for their convenience.

  • Yes I'm sure that the highlights are there, however I suggest that the Church Museum would be included and also the area around the Fireworks factory, which is the first one established in Malta (A.D. 1925) adjacent to a historic chapel, with a very sweet festa celebrated in the last Sunday of September.

Also there is a nice walk in the "Ta' Seguna" rural areas for tourists that is in the limits of hal Mann, and is the place where punic tombs were found.

  • We searched for info, visited the Local Council and have met several people of Lija who gave us some info while we were there.

Since, you find that it is better to include in what you have suggested and since you are from Lija, it will be excellent if we are able to see your production on Lija. We are sure, the general public would benefit from it also.

FYI we featured The decorated St Michael's Chapel in one of our videos. Besides that, we have visited St Michael's Feast last year.

  • Well done - beautiful video indeed -- perhaps what's missing is the St. Michael's chapel and fireworks factory, Lija Athletic Football Club or Casino Liense, the Primary school at R. Mifsud Bonnici Street, Villa Lia and the adjacent 'mahzen' as well as some shots from Ta' Seguna rural areas, otherwise excellent job! Lija is one of the most beautiful Malta villages, and property in Lija is perhaps the highest in Malta even because of the geographic location...

  • Grazie, Salvatore. Quando vieni a Malta, fai certo di dare una visita ai tre villagi.

    Saluti,

    Afred & Jasmine

  • Bravi - bravi - bravi!!!!

  • Its just Heaven. I adore this tiny village in such a small island,,,, Thanks for d wonderful pics....

  • Yes, it's a very quaint village and different than others in its own way. It's another jewel that ornates our tiny but beautiful island. Thanks for your comment.

  • What is truly fascinating in this tiny island is that going from one village to another, one can find a big difference and each village has its own characteristic.

And for those who are not familiar with Malta, at times there's a 5 minute drive from one village to another and you'd think you're in a different world.

  • Thank you Jasmine & Alfred for another great video this time featuring Hal-Lija.

I know this Village well coming from Birkirkara myself.

Lija is a beautiful quite and peaceful Village.

  • Jasmine and Alfred, thanks for bringing my favorite village to life again. Brought me fond memries of my childhood where I used to spend my holidays there at nanna's place in Triq il-Forn. I was there last year for the festa and this Sunday is the festa again, wish all my family there a very happy festa and hudu grokk ghalijja please.

  • Thank you Louis and John. Hal-Lija is one of the most villages in Malta. We visited the village several times to enjoy its beauty and the friendliness of the people is truly impressive.

  • One of the best videos I have seen on Malta. Lija is the most beautiful village in my opinion, possibly since my wife and I both were born there , met there and lived there, married there.

    Excellent choice of music.

    Larry & Helen from Canada

  • Hi Larry and Helen, thanks for your comments. I too lived in the GTA for several years. In the past I was a friend with the late Lija Parish Priest, Fr Fsadni.

Lija is a charming village and so are its people.

  • Hello again,

What a coincidence, Fr. Fsadni was a very good friend of my family. He use to invite my father to go to his summer home in Wid Ilghajn and Guzzeppa use to cook for us. Every time I go to church in Lija (I visit Malta every year for a few months) at the back they have a huge picture of him and it brings back so many memories.

    Nice to hear from you,

    Helen

  • This has been the first time I "visited" Lija.

The video is an enjoyable experience... and it makes me love & miss my native island even more. (Grazio, USA)

  • Thanks Jane, Gaetu and Grazio. Lija is a quaint village. As you know, Malta has more uphills than downhllls and the thing I like in Lija is that it's flat so it was easy to tour the village.

The Lijani were also very helpful when we asked for a specific chapel or building. I really love those narrow winding roads. It's like a fairy village.

    Thanks and regards,

    Alfred

  • Very nice wow xi gmiel thank you for sharing, giving us the opportunity to see more of Malta and the music belezza.

    regards Jane and Gaetu.
