These are all just about one kind of perfect as it gets! The whole Greek series and the separate folk tale series are available in separate DVD's. As engaging for adults as they are for kids. Just mentioned it because it could make a great 'family' seasonal gift / treat.

Its such an awesome classic even tho I haven't seen all of the Greek myth ones, you can get it on DVD, you just have to make sure you have an all region DVD player or your setting is on All Region.

@NewZealandAri Ultimately it was ratings. The show was likely expensive to produce, and not drawing in the numbers. Shame really.

@moviecodswallop I could not agree with you more. I just found the first season on Netflix, and cried when I came to find the second season only lasted 4 episodes. This, and Secret Life of Toys only lasted one season. Hensen's works are always golden, and The Storyteller is an exceptional piece of work
