Silmarillion it's impossible unless they decided to make a tv series. The stories are independent and the action happens during 600 years more or less with so many different characters. On the other hand the story of Túrin is very attractive for a film.

They're first making The Hobbit as a standalone movie, that is the entire book squished into one film, and then they're making another movie, to tie together The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. A little redundant if you ask me. LotR follows The Hobbit quite nicely on its own, if you ask me
