  • I totally thought you were gonna nail that radiator...

  • I quit listening when he said his good tools were craftsman.... Go buy some real good tools, like S-K, K-D, MAC, Easco, Snap-On, or Proto. Craftsman are junk, in my experience. Yes they have a lifetime warranty, but the since time is money, the time you spend to go replace the broken tool is better spent buying good quality tools to start with.

  • WOW because everyone likes dropping thin sharp sticks of metal atop our motors... Sry had to Poke, Otherwise Great setup

  • you really love harbor freight tools dont you?

  • @TheMRWOODIE

Whats wrong with Harbor Freight tools? They work good, cost less, And if some wanker jacks them from your truck your not out alot of money

  • @TheMRWOODIE nothing. i like em too. but some of them are just total crap.

  • Good stuff man!

nvm the ppl who have the mindset "stop making stuff that I don't like" y'know?!!

  • Outstanding! Regardless of your creation's cost in dollars or time and energy, the idea is great, and the fabrication is brilliant. Mechanical engineering at its best. Great video.

  • notice he almost nailed his radiator lol

  • Thank you for the great video!

  • THANK FOR THE VIDEO.Going to use this for my airbag setup--made a video of it on here.gOING FOR A 200 PSI SETUP.

  • Great video bud. Why buy it when you can build it.

  • You talk funny... take out your braces. And a suggestion... mute the video then re dub it without the sputtering, stuttering and "ummms"....

  • Dude you are the man. Awesome job and keep up the great projects. Will be looking forward to see what all you can do with that jeep. Also is your air compressor like the York air compressor, where the oil is separate from the actual piston, or is yours lubricated like a normal a/c compressor? Also what is your CFM on the cast iron beast?

  • awesome set up lmao you are ready for anything

  • genius....

  • Good idea man,,,,, but you can get all of that as bolt on parts if you purchased an old series land rover, they even had a backhoe attachment. All P.T.O, - power take off like a tractor.

Search "santana landrover" and you will be blown away.

Also my man, do you know car batteries explode big time? Try not to use that cutting thing like that in the engine bay,,, just to be safe..

  • @fsfer early jeeps also had pto, are you blown away?

  • @MrAveragebear did the early jeep's PTO have the option to run a backhoe? Like my comment said, search santana land rover and you will be blown away; (by the many different PTO attachments they had available, from firetruck units to backhoe units to heavy welding units, the list does go on). (not just the normal tractor PTO stuff)

  • now hook it up to them engine and goooo turbo

  • York 210's fill 40" tires from 7-30psi in like 2min... 35's in like 40seconds. 33's, which most people would use them for, would be like 30 seconds, and it will still run air tools. You can try to match a 12V or even a 115V system to a York, and find the York to be a pretty nifty setup for the money.

  • WHOOPASS!! I like it!

  • hey great job looking forward to more like details on installation of the welder and air

    thanks for info so far

  • hey great job i want to know more about both the air and welder can u post another with more description like things that are needed like parts list or something i junk yard surf all the time and would love to know all of what i need like tanks etc but thankx for the info so far looking forward to more

  • Cast Iron has a higher specific heat capacity that aluminum. This means it takes more energy transfer (heat) to raise it's temperature one degree. Aluminum will heat quicker than the cast iron but will loose the heat quicker as well. Once the cast iron gets hot it takes a lot longer to cool back down. There is a reason aluminum is used for heat sinks. All that being said you have a nice video here. Keep it up. I personally run a York 210 in my Jeep and love it.

  • What part number is that switch? Where is a good place to get one?

  • absolutly awsome would like a more deailed video of the air manifold and see that welder in action

  • good job dude . pretty slick

  • Keep up the good work.

  • Dude, you got to be kidding me. You you got some fundamentals in science going for you, as well as aptitude. Great job. Smart man. Thanks. I needed to see something clever from a utuber. I was about to give up. :) Thanks again.

  • i know right just when im startin to think you tupe is fo idiots lol ........thats a brilliant idea hes a genius

  • lol at 1:50

    almost nails into the radiator...

  • Do you have any idea where to grab some brackets to mount the compressor on a gmc 2500 diesel?

  • you would probably have to fab some brackets up. you can look at kilby enterprises web site and see what they are using.

  • YOU want an air compressor in a jeep becuase you want to fill up your tires after you air them down.

    This kit is simple.

Its just a good thing to have.

(wont rob horse power when not in use)

  • Why didn't you just buy a vair 480c compressor? My dual compressor setup is bolted under my chassis, costs $300.00 and took 1 hour to install. Why clutter your engine bay up with all that crap?

  • Why would I pay $300 for a electric compressor that doesn't put out as much air as my belt driven unit when the belt driven compressor and all the other components cost about $100 total?

  • 1. It's a Jeep any fuel savings would be offset by the time and effort to remove the compressor, and I use it enough that I would even think of removing it.

    2. Again it's a jeep they hold there value very well, and if I ever sold it its a offroad 4x4 the buyer would likey pay a premium because of the extra componets.

  • well here's my counter agrument.

1,) like an AC unit, this will not rob your horse power when not in use

2.) Your wrong about the resale value. Modification to Vehicles only add to their value

    3) DeathBlade is Right

  • @alanaldapierce resale.lol what re you talking about? people would kill to have a air compressor on their jeep.i saw several jeeps go for 1k to 3k over blue book because they had air compressors.

  • Comment removed

  • that's why you utilize the compressor clutch, energized by the pressure relief/regulator valve, it'll kick on when you need it, and free spin when you don't.

Do your homework, and use the grey matter between your ears once in a while.

and about value retention, I sold a vehicle 2 years ago with a custom York OBA setup, the guy willingly paid me $500 just to keep it in the truck, I paid $150 for everything needed...... I've already built another one to install in my ZR2 after it's 4bt swap.

  • u might wana put that diode pack in a box with 12vdc fan soo not to over heat them 2 did u have a reserve tank for air pump iam sure u got to run engine to weld good idear all in all

  • @DeathBlade556 CUZ THEY HAVE BETTER THEN THAT

  • @DeathBlade556 Smart man!!!

  • @vandamage02 this is a year later but belt driven isn't gonna rob u of power it will not do anything untill the clutch is energiesd

  • @vandamage02

Some people actually enjoy building things rather than being a corporate whore and buying stuff off the internet.

  • @vandamage02 yeah. that is a complete waste of time.

  • Smart guy. Thanks 4 posting this Video.

  • I agree NICE VID!

  • nice vid
