  • Amazing Place!!!

I´m proud of my country... Argentina!!! =)

What´s the name of that song? is beautiful!

  • its called "Memories", its from the musical "Cats"

  • you really don't know? that's Memory from Cats!

  • @Almagestos Memory from "Cats"

  • @n5761212: Thanks =)

  • @Almagestos t's border with brazil so also be proud of brazil

  • @redfalconrocks yeah, but 80% of the falls (including the devil´s throat) are situated entirely in argentine territory ;)

  • @Almagestos False, you're exaggerating the percentage like most desperate Argentinians who's nation is nothing more then a dump. 62% of the devils throat is under Argentine jurisdiction, the rest is under jurisdiction of the State of Parana, Brazil. Have a nice day.

  • @nickfl1980 I am teacher of geography and I was in Iguazó several times, I know perfectly what I am talking about... just a small part of the devil´s throat belongs to Brazil, I have maps of the area... almost 80% of the Iguazó falls belongs to Argentina, and almost 80% of the devil´s throat belongs to Argentina too...

  • @Almagestos By the way... according to you my country is a dump... Well that{s the opinion of ignorant people...you must to watch the video "Argentina (paisajes maravillosos - wonderful landscapes" I am pretty sure my country is prettier than yours... besides I am argentinian and I still living in my own country... but you are brasilian and you are living in USA... why you left your homeland? there is something wrong in Brasil? xD where did you lost your patriotic spirit? :P

  • @Almagestos Sorry, I'm not a Brazilian, but I'm Dutch, living in the US and a fan of Brazil something you just can't stand, and yes, BsAs is a dump, nothing more than a cheap European city wannabe. By the way, did you know that more Argentinians leaving your country? I wonder why :D

  • @nickfl1980 dutch? well, that explain everything... you´re from a tiny country without enough territory and with a flat landscape... my country is huge and you can find almost all kind of landscapes, that´s the reason Argentina is better than Brazil, In Argentina you can find high mountains, deserts, forests, lakes, glaciers, plains, heat, cold, etc... check out the video "Argentina (paisajes maravillosos)"

  • @Almagestos So in Brazil there are no mountains, plains, heat, cold weather deserts, lakes and forests? It does snow there too but they don't have glaciers. Your country is the only nation in Latin America with Mountains, deserts, forests, glaciers etc etc? Dude, you need to travel outside your country. You're a closed minded individual who never left his country. Sadly and that you even dear to call yourself a geography teacher is total sham for the real teachers who teach Geography.

  • @nickfl1980 Don´t put words in my mouth, I´m not talking about other latinamerican countries, I´m talking about Brazil... as I told you before, watch the video Argentina (paisajes maravillosos - wonderful landscapes) and compare with Brazil, if Brazil is better than Argentina, well then...show me some video about Brazil including better landscapes that the one of Argentina... I´m waiting!...

  • @Almagestos waiting for what? If you want see landscapes in Brazil, you can watch it here in youtube, but since you are ignorant and biased with your bogus patriotism in your head, you are incapable of doing that. Oh of course you're not talking about now about other nations in Latin America, because a bubble head (who distort facts for an idiot reason) simply doesn't know anything about the rest. Proves my point..you are incapable of seeing the truth, because it doesn't work for you.

  • @Almagestos ignorance in this case is failing to accept the truth, while spinning the truth for a ridiculous reason= presenting here a false info / number in percentage while you "know" it's false, but don't want to accept. Your country prettier than my country where I'm original from? Depends on the taste amigo. For landscapes+ cultures, in Latin America, Brazil, Chile and Peru beats your nation, easily. Get over it.

  • @nickfl1980 talking about culture, tango is from Argentina... we have a live culture, while other countries have only ruins of past civilizations as culture... tango is famous around the world? but dutch dances and music are not ;)

  • @Almagestos Tango is created in Argentina, but i bet you don't know by who. Fact are: Tango is created by Black immigrants from Africa (slaves) and the Italian immigrants. Just like the Zamba, what black argentinians copied from the Samba. The Dutch culture is totally different, and comes from the Germans. You my friend, your country's culture compare to other Latin American countries is weak and poor.

  • @nickfl1980 My culture is poor and weak? lol... excuse me but argentinian culture is a mixture of cultures: european, american, asian, african, etc... our culture is richer than yours... germans were all barbarians without any kind of alphabet, that´s the reason you must to use the latin alphabet to write your german language... a big % of argentinians had italians ancestors, so our ancestors were the creators of the alphabet that you are using to write... we don´t need ruins to have culture...

  • @Almagestos Yes your culture is weak compare to other nations in Latin America. It's not as diverse as you claim. Never was.

  • a big % of argentinians had italians ancestors...and so what? So does other nations in the Americas and I bet you don't even know which country has the largest Italian community outside Italy. I'll give you two hints, It ain't in the US and it ain't in Argentina either. Do your real work mr Almagestos the bogus geographer.

  • @Almagestos Oh and by the way, I forgot to mention..Iguacu Falls is "also" Brazilian territory that is "one of their many beautiful" landscapes. Did you read that Mr. Argentina? "One" of their most beautiful Brazilian territories, something you just can't stand and what hurts your silly pride when foreigners type that :D. You a Geography teacher, Laugh, great joke, and Have a nice day

  • @nickfl1980 lol, your tiny country is so pathetic that even the future queen of Holland...Maxima is argentinian... hahahaha...

  • @Almagestos false again, she won't be queen, but keep the title princess, because she isn't a real princess. Second, who cares about them, a Republic is much better. Third, Argentina is more pathetic with high inflation (30 % second highest in the americas behind Venezuela), High unemployment, second most corrupted nation in the Americas and a nation who lost most of it's people after the financial crisis in the 21st century. You're a sad person Mr Almagestos, I feel sorry for people like you.

  • @Almagestos False again, I doubt you are a teacher and even if you are, proves how terrible your universities are in Argentina, and not even "one" are in the top 100 list. Of the Iguacu falls, 62% of the devil throat is in Argentine jurisdiction and not the almost 80%. Get over it, because many tourists (include me) say, you have the best view when you are on the Brazilian side.

  • @nickfl1980 The best view on the brazilian side? mmm... well, from the brazilian side people can see all the argentinian falls... maybe that´s the reason hahaha... besides it depends... on the argentinian side people can walk through the falls and touch the water, you can feel the power of nature...By the way the devil´s throat viewpoint it´s situated on argentine territory, that´s enough info to show you that the devil´s throat is more argentine than brazilian...

  • @Almagestos and again, the Iguacu falls are on the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. majority of the Devils throat (62%) is in Argentina's Federal Government jurisdiction and the rest is in jurisdiction of the Government of the State of Parana. Those are the facts amigo. On the Argentinian side you are close to the water and on the Brazilian side you have the best view of the whole Iguacu Falls that is in hands of the Brazilians and Argentinians. Only on your side some falls have names

  • @nickfl1980 WRONG!!!, Iguazú falls ARE NOT situated in Paraguay, Iguazú falls are situated on the Iguazú river and that river belongs only to Argentina and Brazil, you must to read more about geography before to discuss

and 80% of the waterfalls belongs to Argentina, even the devil´s throat, that´s the reason the viewpoint on the devil´s throat it´s situated in Argentina and NOT on the brazilian side... ;)

  • @Almagestos False again. You keep proving how terrible your education was. Iguacu falls are indeed situated on the TRIPLE Border (Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay). Second, you distort the Facts again. 62% of the of Devils throat is situated in Argentina and the rest on the Brazilian side. You, amigo, are a sad person with false patriotism who cannot stand the Facts that the Devils throat of this beautiful natural wonder belongs to 2 nations, Brazil and Argentina.

  • @nickfl1980 ARE YOU IDIOT? the triple frontier it´s situated on the Paraguay river, it is NOT situated on the iguazú river... Iguazú river belongs only to Argentina and Brazil... and the waterfalls are situated only on that river... do you want a map of the waterfalls? I can send you a link if you want...

  • Beautiful. I'm going with my Argentinean hubby in August. We're taking some of his friends with us who have never been in La Plata (where he's from). I've seen Niagara Falls, but I've heard this is much better

  • Dear "armasjj": I respect your passion for Paraguay,a country I know and love much, but the information you are expressing is not all true: Paraguay's leaders provoqued Triple Alianza war and Dictators like Rodriguez de Francia and Lopez benefited from it, while thousands of paraguayans were killed. You(neither me) can judge and be sure of things that happened ove 100 years ago. Let's enjoy the music and the beautiful video and stop useless arguments over History. Greetings!

  • Are you crazy. Since hundred years ago the borders always were limited by the rivers Iguaçu and Parana, Paraguay never had the falls, wake up dude
