just watched the first episode ofthis anime, and it seems good i like how the main guy cant distinguish between whats real and what is in his mind and the paranoia that comes with it i dont really see what the hatin is about so far

I agree with you, but I just love these mind f#cks so much. I try to figure out whats happening as it happens, and love the over Haruhi scale acid trips that you find along the way.

Chaos head is a Magnificent well put story. It's really deep and complex. it's really something that makes you think and opens your mind. if people don't like it its cuz there too stupid and should be put in elementary school to learn there abc. This story is love, hate,sadness,hate,greed. really deep psychological concept all well put together. its like watching a movie or playing a final fantasy game.

Personlly, I liked this show. Sure, the first 1/2-3/4 of the show is pretty much a mindfuck, but everything really clicks in the end...well for me it did.

Too bad alot of people didn't like it. Oh well, everyone has their own tastes.

PS, the OP "F.D.D." is one of my top 10 favorite songs.

I personally dont believe that this anime was made to entertain, meaning that all the things that would normally be considered "qualifications" for a good anime need to thrown out of the window. What you need to look at is the exact theme as you put it "Mind Fucked". You need to look deeper into the meaning behind the series. The psychological disorders represent the insecurities that all of us posses and the delusions represent our "fantasies" which we must realize are just fantasies...

I've seen Kaiji (great but to much crying), I prefer Akagi though (awesome until the final match).

As for funny and light hearted, Id rather watch Toradora, once it finishes.

You're totaly wrong on the animation it's pretty bad its probably one of the worst i've seen that year. The music was only decent, but IMO was actualy below par. I don't really pay atention to studios so i don't know if all the bad anime i've watched are from gonzo. What i liked from gonzo was Afro samurai there was a decent story too plain maby but the fighting was epic so yeah...

Well when I think good Gonzo anime I usually think of: Full Metal Panic!, Chrono Crusade & some other anime I seem to have forgotten. Afro is just average.

lol I doubt Gonzo will even redeem themselves even after aiming for the Hentai crowd

(I remember back before they started making utter crap when they were better... Trinity Blood, Chrono Crusade, FullMetal Panic, Etc)

Gonzo was great back in the day and I absolutely loved what they did with FMP! in the Helmejista filler arc. Shame that they've only released crap after CG filled crap lately.
