Idk why but this idea just came to my head that it would be so awsome if they made like a ride that tells the story of walt disney and call it *the magic of DISNEY*

why can't they have this in Disneyworld? lol like the little mermaid stuff? all they have thats related to ariel is her "character" and a diner. thats it! and what about the spectacular world of color?!?! fireworks get boring after a while. i would LOVE to see the SWOF! sucks that i love SO close to disneyWORLD that my mom would thinks its crazy if i ask to travel to Cali to go to disneyLAND lol. oh well i'll keep dreaming :P

You can see the whole ride if you have the little mermaid dvd special edition.its like an animation of how this ride looks.its REALLY nice check it out.although i think they chose the scenes in the order i wouldnt wanna ride in.

I like the Mermaid concept but not completely, because they already have enough of that over at Disneyland. All those figure-type rides, where the figures dance and talk to you while you sit in a boring nutshell. I wish they would have made this more exciting and dramatic, like maybe the guests are invited to Ariel's wedding and Vanessa destroys the event by trying to go at Ariel and the riders. Then the riders go through all these different scenarios while they ride inside a boat...

But anyway, the facade to this new ride is nice, beautiful, and I like how Disneyland and California always tries to go for beauty and cuteness, but come on, this is California Adventure. They should give the ride more edge. Also, I thought the ride was actually going to be under the sea, like under the reflection lake or that they were going to add water into the building or something. This is just too much of a cute ride. But anyway, they're the designers...

Lastly, I wanted to say: that upcoming car ride looks awesome, but I am afraid it also looks dangerous, because it looks too good to be true. I mean, knowing from the accident Disneyland has had in the past is just enough to make you assume something may happen. I remember Disneyland had opened a ride similar to this one back in 1996 or 97, where riders rode on this path all around Tomorrowland. Then the ride was taken down, I don't know why.

I just hope the animatronics on Little Mermaid are not " plastic" too many colors and less depth in the way they look, and more like the traditional. but hey.. its nots about me!!! and what I think.

I can't wait to take the kids to Disneyland again...before they get too much older - we'll all be big kids anyway. My daughter loves the little mermaid and it's going to be THE highlight of out next trip there. Coming from Australia so hope our dollar stays strong..

Man, i really wanna go to Disneyland now and when those rides come. I don't live that far from Walt Disney World and love it to death but i just kinda like Disneyland just a little more since Walt crafted it himself! So sad i've never been, not even to the West coast, period ;'(

@SavingNines Radiator Springs Racers is using the Test Track ride system and The Little Mermaid is using an Omnimover system, like The Haunted Mansion or Finding Nemo at Epcot. But the comparisons end there. Both rides will feature new technology and effects in much more elaborate scenes.

@SavingNines no your not. the little mermaid iskind of like a combination of nema, and haunted mansion. however, cars isnt just cars. its radiator springs. there will be multiple ride, the "bumber karts" (you turn to move), the cars track (you just ride a car onn a roller coaster track) and then there is mators junkyard, where you sit down, and it is kind of like the ladybug ride in the ants world things. yes, they seem alike, but they are different
