You seem to be an Oldfield follower....good for you!!!Thanx anyway...btw what's your favorite Oldfield lp????If there is one really...I knew only of the Bells orchestration...and I was thrilled by this discovery!!!!!This is certainly my precious one in his work....followed by Incantations and Ommadawn......Tubular Bells is the obvious choice...and not so well recorded btway
@CalyxAsgard so you're more into his 80's period...I definitely prefer his 70's stuff...it was a surprise for me you didn't mention any of his 70's lps....anyway that's the magic of music
@TheBitterSweetgr * Incantations was made in the late 70s, I do like that. Me liking the Hergest Ridges and all of the Tubular Bells goes without saying, but I would be lying if I didn't admit to liking a lot of his early 80s work.
.....a fantastic'n'underrated masterpiece....compared to it Get To France is shit....though I used to love it when I was ten!!!!!!!It was wise of you to post this....didn't even know of its existence!!!!!!!Has David Bedford orchestrated all his work??????
@TheBitterSweetgr * I know at least that David Bedford has orchestrated at least Orchestral versions of Hergest Ridge and Tubular Bells as well as Killing Fields; also Mike and David have worked together on various other projects over the years.

@TheBitterSweetgr * For me, it was listening to Taurus II from the Five Miles Out album that made me want to seek out more M.O.
Discovery, Music of the Spheres, Crises, QE2 plus several others were the next ones added to my collection.
Earth Moving didn't move me but that doesn't change the fact that I have dozens of M.O MP3s on my Walkman Phone.
