couple comments. Firstly, the citations should not have been mailed, official citations have to be personally given by a sheriff or marshall. Once the citation is served you should have 30days to rectify the situation.

I saw a guy walking down the street, here in Savannah, doing the tourist thing and the cops stopped him, asked for his ID and searched him. They "said" there was an APB out on a tall white guy with his hat backwards. The "criminal" had stolen a pair of sunglasses.

They harassed this guy for 30 mins. Searching him with his hands behind his head on a semi crowded street full of tourists. They found NOTHING!

Thanks for automatically assuming I still live with my mother. Besides, if I had known she was having issues like this, I would have cut it. I didn't find out about this until yesterday.

The states, themselves know better what's best for them. The people can more easily get involved in their governments. The local levels have been quelled and overrun by the problems of our national government. Let's end the corruption by wrestling the newly empowered local and state governments to best represent us. This is a city or a state problem. Ron Paul wants the government out of people's lives and wants to give state's more control. I think if he were elected President, you would have the crazy states making crazier laws like this. This may be a local problem but it all starts with the example set from above.

Even these local govts have large sums of tax monies to use in their "neighborhood code patrols", plus of course the money they are able to extort while "on patrol".

Dr. Paul has already begun to set an example for this nation.
