Yeh they are very different.

From what I've seen there are more lead guitar parts throughout the songs in Japanese power metal than in European.

D'espairsRay ISN"T power metal but when I decided to make a band comprised only of Japanese Metal bands, they turned out to be mostly power metal so, I called the vids "Power Metal Bands from Japan" but it is NOT limited to just "Power Metal" its about all types of Metal from Japan. but thanks for pointing that out ^-^
