  • this thing is like 2000+bucks?

  • Hi some notes from France ;-)

    Congratulations !

  • Salut cher compatriote!

twangalot : well played I'll post the ballydesmond n°2 as spoon as posible

    keep it up :)

  • hey, just commenting to say that i was actually wrong in my last comment! turns out the folk of ballydesmond like their polkas.... theres actually three of them! (there all different)

  • great tune! the only reason you think its called no.2 is becuase its the second (and correct) version thats notated in padraig carrols book on learning the irish mandolin. The no.1 version is just the easier one for learners.

im just after completing that book myself... very instructional, id recommend it.

  • Thanks David. I have two other tunes that I know as Ballydesmond polkas. I usually play them as a set but I can't remember where I found them. Anyway this one's in the middle of the set-hence I call it no2! Maybe I'm wrong-still a good toon though.

  • I also learned this one as #2.

  • yeah! I love this song! I play it everytimes with my irish wistle but the begining is a little difficult ^^
