Nah in grime a freestyle is when a artist mix up there bars from songs they already have.

its nothing to do with grime, freestyle is freestyle. Its just bars that you spit right there and then rather then a P.A of a song. The goes for any genre, but some ppl chose to make up bars on the spot during a freestyle session.
