Ron Paul is the ultimate straw man. He uses Obama's straw man techniques in a not so subtle way. His foreign policy is pro-American while the others are for policing the world. That, in itself, is idiotic. Even Ron Paul's highlights are lowlights for sane people.

Does the media understand that the people are tired of wars? The media which manipulates truths and commonly abides to higher-ups propaganda- cannot handle a politician that is definitely gonna do what he says. It scares them greatly because he cannot be manipulated. Until Paul or someone similar is put into office, politicians will continue to give the people 'JUST ENOUGH' to shut them up. Read your american history, it's been going on for over a CENTURY.

Bachmann is an diot. If America stopped subsidising Israel, in exchange for its submission to the U.S., Israel would be a forced to be reckoned with. Conservatives deliberately mollycoddle Israel because it enables them permanent influence in the region. Without America's dollars, Israel would be a stronger military nation, -the complete opposite of what they keep telling us

When I speak to people, and they oppose Ron Paul, their reason is "his position on Iran is indefensible."
It sucks, but he should avoid this issue, or spend way less time talking about it. Because the more sound bytes he gives the media on this, the more people can keep on calling him crazy.
We want to win, but we can't convince EVERYONE on EVERY ISSUE right now! Sad but true.
What is crazy is Iran is, and has been during the past term, a non issue! So what are they opposing???

Any sane (let alone thinking) person knows that the only reason we "Talked" Qadaffi into giving up his Nukes is because of the major ass kicking we gave Afghanistan and Iraq.. He knew his number was up. Especially in light of his responsibility for terrorist acts against Americans and sponsoring terrorism at the time... I say fuck the U.N. who cares what they say. The U.S. is the only country to drop atomic bombs on people anyways. Why do we feel we can decide who gets them and who doesn't? And Paul is dead right if we would leave the region and quit antagonizing them with sanctions they would have a lot less incentives to aquire nuclear power.
