Finally i've been looking for this opening move for some time now...thank you...but i have one question about the Knight sac. 5:24 if you pause, the Queen and Bishop position...couldn't what's his face push the pawn up to fork the Queen and the Bishop at the same time? Forcing him to lose a piece anyway
Well explained. (Sometimes people who are really good at chess don't explain things clearly enough to average players, and assume that they will understand more than they actually do. But this one was really good.)
Wow, what sharp play by Gelfand. I found the lines for the sack and attack easily when you mentioned when it occurred, but I'd never have seen it in a game in a million years. I recognize that the king's position is a bit vulnerable once the knight on f-file leaves, but couldn't see how I could reposition the bishops to rack into that corner or allow for a rook lift. Stunning GM play!
I'm starting to like your videos. Normally I always watch Kingscrusher but you're starting to get good at this too. In the beginning I think you analysed too many variations which distracted from the game but now it's starting to get to the beauty of the games themselves.
Thanks man! Yes, I am only really getting the hang of them now - it took a while to figure out exactly what to include and what not to include etc. Also I have discovered a much better way of writing my notes for the games that means the video is more fluid. And I am using a headset now as well so the sound is more clear than it has been. Glad you are enjoying them, more coming soon! Thanks again.
Very clear comment and explaination. Example of great command of center and sacrifice piece for initiative from GM Gelfand. Valuable lesson for me. Thanks Mr. Sean.
at 7:20 Qf6 isnt a better option?

It would be interesting alright, but I don't know it well at all! It's a good one though by the looks of things. Might be worth a look!
