I have shoulder length relaxed hair...My hair would've been way longer if it were natural but it was so hard to comb! It was so kinky, i would cry everytime I got my hair done. I've had the "Wow, your hair really gets long when it's braided".It does but not 2 feet longer! My reply would be "It's not my hair, it's extensions" and the reaction from the non-black people at school/work would just be confusion.
The last 5 years I've been wearing my hair "natural" people are just as confused (some of them black). How does my hair stay in like that (twists), what did I do to get it curly like that (twist-outs), was it hard to get my hair like that (afro w/ headband).
