  • filmed with a popsicle?

  • good sound you have!

  • How did you get that sticks??

  • The sound of the slow motion parts sound like something out of Tron, lol

  • whos cleanin that up

  • I just started this kind of thing.

  • nice but you have way too much free time

  • @TheWallet1000 nah not really. im 15 and it was school holidays. i had a week in weymouth and not much to do.

  • @SuperDominoSam Actually, it´s nice to see that one young man can have some fun without a tv or a console on his hands. (i love games, but i´m old and I don´t watch daily 5 hours of tv like my niece)

  • @TheWallet1000

Says the person commenting and tutorials for Stupid Paper Wallets...

  • Awesome job, SDS! Hope you're wearing safety goggles in case of an accidental detonation...

  • @lunatim woops. no im not..=)

  • @SuperDominoSam Safety goggles are really cheap and can be found at dollar stores and hardware stores like Menard's or Lowe's. Popsicle/craft sticks can jump pretty high, and so can tongue depressors with certain advanced weaves. Stick bombs can sometimes explode without warning, especially with the crooked bombs made by beginners, so eye protection is definitely a good idea. The main reason I've been reluctant to make a tutorial is fear that many people won't wear eye protection...

  • @lunatim i have a pair at my mums. but im not thee. anyways. there loas off people who have made videos on how to make stick bombs. but most are only one cell lol. i wont make a video on how to do ii if you say not to. but if i can i will ask them to wear gogles or some other kind off eye protection. =) woo hoo

  • @SuperDominoSam It doesn't bother me if you or others do a tutorial on multi-celled stick bombs. The real concern is that you may be opening yourself up to litigation. Some stick bomb configurations do jump pretty high and no matter how much you warn people to wear eye protection, there are some who will ignore your warning. I've been reluctant to teach how to make stick bombs for mainly this reason. (continued)

  • (continued) One thing that freaks me out is how many videos on YouTube are tutorials teaching how to make truly dangerous things like flour bombs, incendiaries, and other stuff capable of serious injury. I'm surprised that YouTube hasn't been sued by an army of personal-injury attorneys because of this. Stick bombs are very tame in comparison, but we live in an overly-litigious society. (continued 2)

  • (continued 2) I'd love to see a stick-bomb fad take off as it could be a huge boost to my art career. However, I don't want kids getting injured by stick bombs due to their ignoring my warning, so I've been coy about making a tutorial. Besides, I can't take credit for inventing stick bombs as they've been around for generations. There's plenty of stick-bomb tutorials already on YouTube and elsewhere, including one or two that delve into making multi-celled bombs. (continued 3)

  • (continued 3) There's also Joey Collard who developed his 'frame bombs' completely independent of me. BTW, they're pretty cool--Google 'frame bomb' and check out his website.

Perhaps I'm being neurotic about this, but I used to work in Civil Court and have seen a lot of personal-injury lawsuits over trivial things. Besides, a very big part of the Geekster lifestyle is wearing some sort of protective equipment whether you're a spelunker, marine biologist, chemist, or stick-bomb maker...
