Also I think they did the License system,to make the game seem less like a Level grinder,and give you some kind of reward for Level grinding,and a reason to do it,and FFXII is a definately a Level grinder,and a half,atleast this is my theory,so to me it makes it better to me,if you get the stuff right off,and didn't have to earn the license then the Level grinding would make people mad,so with that being said it's a 10/10 not a nine out of 10,and it is my second favorite FF.

The battle system in FFXII is really smooth and actually quite deep. It's a great system but it isn't anything like the classic turn based RPG battle system. IMO this battle system is actually better than the classic one in some ways.
awsome game. i used to be soo obsessed with this game that got all my characters to 99 and one to 98 (penelo), killed yaizmat (pulled an all nighter and just barely beat him before sun rised), got zodiac spear, tournesol, wyrm hero, excaliber and masamune, and almost finished the sky pirates den. then i sold my ps2 and got a ps3 but forgot that my memry card wouldn't go in so i lost it all NOOO!! but it still sits there in my no;n-usable 8gb memory card. Lol i framed it and hung it up in myroom

guys, FFx-2 was different by a long shot, and its one of my favorite games, and FF8, is by far my all time favorite, FF7 is not even one of my favorites, it was good, i love them all, but i personally don't see what everyone has in FF7, but FF12 looks very very sweet, can't wait for it to come out here in the U.S. =D

In the demo the battle system does look a lil more boring LOL. But in the final release it is so much better trust me.
I like that u have to buy/earn your skills and that u don't just get them for free. Makes it more real. FF12 is going to just rock...period. FF7 can kiss its fame goodbye!

i also played ff12 (got demo with dragon ques which rock) but to say that ff7 was the 1st for playstation thats why its famous is wrong. 1 ff6 was the first 2. the storyline was by far the best the unexpected emotion twist the indepth character development (save a few) was excellent. the storyline exceptional. the game was able to emotionally tie you to the characters and if you really played it you cant tell me you didnt feel a connection with cloud. ff8 was also great in my opinion

I played the demo that came with DQVIII, the battle system is not that much fun, in my opinion. They should have opt for a more fun system like the one Tales of Symphonia. Plus, buying skills? Give me a break. I will give it a try once it comes out, hopefully I'll get into the battle system a bit more.

Yup, Vaan & Penelo were useless in terms of story interactions. Reddas was wicked.
