God so love the world and he gave to his only begotten son and he killed his only son so he can forgive you. That tells me god can't forgive me without killing his son. mr collins you wouldn't know the Holy Ghost if it bit you. If you still want to be around all that ungodly stuff you are not really converted. You want a church that will let you be in the world and church at the same time. Why dont you check out the guy who came to money mountain back a few years ago and got no amens...Lawrence Bishop was his name... he said it was a sin to be in proms dances etc... well I guess someone is man enough to PREACH. Oh and by the way one more thing , I play in a band that plays TGIF in martinsville. I play at every club it seems on the east coast. I do this with the holy ghost alive in me. Places dont make you seen. you as a person do decide to. I tell what to buddy hte people you need to reach are in places with drinking and dancing alot more so than the back of a church!!!!! Get out of oyur comfort zone and step out the boat so jesus can show you how to walk brother!!
look mercy aint the chruch for me, but let me tell you I went there for a while and poe is a very godly man. He aint no idiot running wiht a hot cup of poision ready to drink with a rattle snake in his pocket. He is a man of GOD. And god protects his servants. If you to are a man of god then you are his brother in christ and should respect him.
And at the end you mentioned Chad Hall. Well let me tell ya a little somnething he is also a Man of God. I know him outside the church.
And God is their provider, He is their healer and their savior simply because they have FAITH in Him! If He promised those that believe on Him that they wouldn't die from a snake bite or some other sort of poisoning like a lot of people did in those days because they didn't have the medical resources that some have today, what makes you think He can't or won't do the same for people in this predicament today?
My simple observation is this, the speaker in this video takes for granted that one can always "go to the hospital" when accidentally bitten by a snake or ingests poison.
I'm a Pentecostal from East Africa. I can say that YES the promises are for today! There are millions of people across the world that believe in the same Jesus of the Bible but don't have the access to the medical treatment that maybe some of you enjoy.
I have heard these people argue that they can drink poison and get snake bitten for years, I'm an MD and can administer IV meds for sedation....I propose an experiment. Lets start an IV on this good pastor and let him put his faith in action where his mouth is. Let me give him 1 to 2 mg per Kg of the sedative Ketamine slowly over 2 minutes while closely watching his vitals and see how it affects him. Oh, but that wouldn't be "accidentally" ingested then would it?
What is the point of this video? Is the guy for or against the preacher on the video or saying the verses are for today or not? I don't see much of a stand being made here. Not being critical, I really want to know. Is it just to point out something about the preacher on the video?
