  • probability of getting a sum of 7, given that one die shows a 5?

    we have 6 possible outcomes not 11, (5,1),(5,2),(5,3),(5,4),(5,5),­(5,6)

    so P(sum=7|one die=5) = 1/6

  • How did you get 11 outcomes??
