I never really came out, I mean when you're straight you don't tell your parents "mom, dad,I'm straight". I just introduced my gf to my parents :D but I must admitt I knew it wouldn't be a problem. Some of my parents' best friends are gay.
I like dat confidance sam, I agree! it does't matter wat people thinks. But countable thing is wat u think. if u feel shy to introduce wat u r then dont do it. an still if u r! then walk like king. thats ur life n u r owner of it. One n only owner.

I came out to my parents about a yr ago & it does get easier to talk to them.
It definitely helps to hang out w/ like-minded ppl, b/c u can express urself w/ them..
