i saw this boat today at the motorboat museum in basildon, i heard they are closing for good now, what goings to happen to the boat? would be nice to see it running again?? :D
It only had superficial repairs purely for display purposes from a big accident during the Southampton Grand Prix Powerbpoat Race back in 1989 so i doubt it would ever race again sadly.
As for the museum closing, i guess it will return to Unipart in Oxford - but who knows!

Damn this brings back memories. I remember as a kid sat on the beach at Cowes and listening to the boats, I reckon that I could say twin lamborghinis before I knew how to ride a bike :D

You may have done, his name is maurice williamson and the boat was Big n Beefy. I was only a kid but i certainly remember your boat.
