This is the most misunderstood and most underrated band living and breathing today. The record is great, this performance is tremendous, and their back catalogue dating to the Improv and Experimental days is un-fuckin-real.
Note: I wouldn't dare say any of their records don't need time to grow on you, but if you let them you clearly see a band with a batch of great influences (yes, including Suicide) that mix together to produce something that is truly the brillance of A.R.E./TV Baby.
@sucramnipp Well, it was one of Spencer Sweeney's Sessions series - you know, for the sake of art - and they were also there to provide moral support for No Bra. Later last year they DID play upstairs. I made sure to be there with the cam, but shooting was firmly vetoed by the band.
