God I just happened to be browsing for videos and holy crap I never expected to see this show on here. I was there and unfortunately can't find where I was at in the crowd cause of the camera angle of any of the videos posted from this show. Wow...brings back memories. I miss Tripping Daisy very very much. Well I still have the Toadies anyway...
Awesome band. I saw them play in a little bar in Texas in college. Still one of the best times I've had at a concert and I've seen a few big shows (U2, Depeche Mode, Green Day, etc). Other good songs are My Umbrella, Blown Away..
Tripping Daisy played at one of my friend's bday parties almost exactly one year before the lead singer overdosed. This was my favorite song of theirs. They were awesome live. Unfortunately, they never really had the chance to become well known. Some of their songs were complete crap, but I still love them because of this song and "I got a girl"
Yes, I was wrong. It was the guitarist or something. Probably should have looked it up for myself a long time ago instead of being content with hearsay. After all this time, it is good to know this finally. Time to get me some Polyphonic Spree music :p
Skip to 1:10, unless you enjoying listening to instruments being tuned.

The Lead singer isn't dead. He sings for The Polyphonic Spree. In fact, the still living members of Tripping Daisy all play in the Spree.
