If he's sincere about helping people, then why does he fiddle with his expenses stealing money from the taxpayers? Why doesn't he volunteer to work for free considering he doesn't need extra money on top of his inherited fortune? He's an opportunist.
i think i can sense some sacking in the tory camp as of election day due to incompitance. when people realise that the torys have done nothing about the economy in the last year. and the only things they have done would of worsend the economy. but we didnt accept much from any of their answers, we knew they were all school boy errors. we have to ride this rescession out on the back of our buisnesses. feed the horse to become big and strong and we will ride it up the mountain.
What CAN do the Tories do in Opposition? Opposition politicians comment and devise their own policies, but can't implement them.
That's like saying Michael Foot lost in 1983 because he didn't solve the recession of 1981. His policy solutions caused him to lose, not because he didnt do anything.
It's a 100 year old story, Labour gets voted in, fucks up the country, thus the COnservatives get in, have to make difficult decisions to sort out the economy, and when they achieve this, they get criticised for having to make these tough decisions, get voted out, Labour come in, ruin the good work and make it worse than the last time they were in power. It's a vicious cycle, and the people need to realise what they are doing. DON'T VOTE LABOUR.
Garbage. The tories are sleazy opportunistic and full of sh*te . If you think things will be better under the tories ( the geniuses who brought us 3 million unemployment two or three recessions) Black Wednesday cash in envelopes need I go on? youre more stupid than you sound .
The Conservatives have a right to a private life. Tory sleaze was sexual sleaze mostly, unlike Labour. Secondly, employment did reach 3,000,000, but it was at 1,600,000 when they left. It reached 3,000,000 under the socialists in the 70's. Interest rates were at 15% for about a week to stabilise the pound. Gordon Brown was all for joining the ERM. Kohl, trying to unite Germany, changed the Eastern Currency to the Mark, crippling the pound.
@colour749 Cretin... the root of the current crisis was a decision in the White House to oblige American mortgage lenders to give mortgages to the unemployed and the very low waged. That decision was under the American socialist party, The Democrats, under Bill Clinton.
It's then a long story of growing financial disaster
It's bloody socialism in all its forms than cannot resist meddling in things they barely understand

It doesn't matter who gets in at the next election, we will all be stuck with rising food, fuel, gas and electricity costs. We will also have to make do with piss poor pay increases, whislt ministers awards themselves nice fat pay cheques including expenses for doing fuck all!
The 10p tax debate is one of the reasons why many people in this country are sick to death of politics. Neither party will raise taxes on the people at the top. The tax burden in this country is borne by lower to middle income earners and I for one am sick of it. We need a taxpayers revolt in this country which would lead to incentives to work and save for those at the lower end of the scale. I do not mind paying my share but people like Philip Green and Branson should do likewise.
Why should the rich pay for the ineptitude of a government? I think tax should have a uniform percentage, of 20%. The rich will still pay more, and it is the fairest way.
A flat tax as you propose is the most regressive forms of taxation and would hit the poor. Millionaires paying 20% on everything while Nurses do the same would be very unfair. Reduce the amount of tax that lower and middle income people pay by shifting that burden to the rich. This could be done by charging 50% for over £100,000 and a top rate of 60-75% on everything over £1M. This would return the incentive to work and save to those on lower to middle incomes. Any tax system has to be fair.
A flat tax would not be fair as it takes no account of the income of the payer. That is the main reason why the poll tax was so unfair. Tax is not just about how much you pay it is also about the percentage rate at which you pay it. 20% of £1M or £20,000 is still 20%. The income tax system should be progressive - the more you earn the more you pay. Unless we make work pay and introduce incentives to save Britain will continue to be the second most unequal country in the developed world.
Osborne gives not one little ounce of crap about the poor. New labour have done a little.. the tories would do nowt. The new young tories are toffs. New labour so dissapointing. Vote who?
This Govt. are the biggest Shit - kickers walking God`s earth. The poorest in the country are now paying more tax. I hate them even more than I hate terrorists. This Gov`t will not only starve you, It`ll smile at you whilst doing it ! Twats.
Such a ghastly man!

P.S East Germans and "Der Russe" have almost perfected an "Art" of looking at you direct in the eye (like a friend) and lying 2u through the teeth!
What an awful trait to have been taught (by parents?!) -it´s like championing a "Lower-form-of-Humanity!"
To expats living amongst the Russians and Germans in their land, knowing how they function" - it´s quite embarrasing.
Picture sitting opposite someone who is obviously lying, with most around the table knowing it too. Its truley weird!

i think you will find its rather the other way round.
its your tory chums the bankers who caused the recession by the powers they were given by conservative governments.
conservatives are just for the rich and there is no other way about it
