Incorrect. It was the Soviets that sent robots to the moon to collect moon rock. On 3 separate missions they totaled 300 grams. Soviet robots were only able to collect less than ".1%" of the moon rock that american astronauts were able to collect.
The americans however collected 2415 samples on 6 manned missions totaling 382 kg.

To be quite honest, I think Buzz, an honest to goodness American patriot got more pleasure out of destroying, by fakery, the Soviet Union than if he had really gone to the moon, all I have to say, is, look at the first interviews with the so-called moon landers, Jesus, have you seen the smiles on the faces of the Olympic champions? and these pricks have just achieved man's greatest ever feat, I think not, one prick I jousted with said they were just tired, I'm up at 4am tomorrow, 'nough said.

I the moon landing has been scientifically proven several times over. The hoax theory is scientifically impossible.

I'll just re-post, 1969-70, 240,000 miles to the moon, six times, the most hazardous journey ever undertaken by mankind with pocket calculator technology, since then, up to 2012, never been higher than 400, YES, FOUR HUNDRED miles and lost 14 astronauts, now if that were space exploration in reverse it would be a logical advance but it's not is it?

@thecubanism We went to the moon which is 240,000 miles away, the next nearest object we can land on is mars which is some 35,000,000 miles away, so what is your point about only going 400 miles high now? why go higher? 14 astronauts were lost during the most dangerous time of space flight, launch and re-entry, there was 7 moon missions and one failure (13) 14% failure rate, 135 shuttle missions and 2 failures, 1.5% failure rate, I would say that is an advance wouldn't you?
