there were no mats because this was the dance portion of the compeititon and it is REQUIRED of every team to have a pom routine as well as a partner/group stunt (depending on if the team is co-ed or all girl) routine and show cheeer which is the typical 2:30 routine w/ stunts, tumbling and a cheer
