Spero che le persone a cui non piace la delicatezza di questo brano, siano dei giovani rockettari, con dei gusti musicali agli antipodi di quello che vuole esprimere questo pezzo;diversamente è gente che non ne capisce una mazza di musica !!!!!
I used Nat King Cole at my wedding and unfortunately he was not there to sing it personally. The song was Unforgettable. The wedding singer was soon forgotten. Nat King Cole never will be.
I used to sing this song so happily without knowing that this one was Nat King Cole's until now. What a fool I am! What a great singer he really is forever! eijiro odagiri
If it wasn't for Nat smoking he wouldn't have had such a beautiful voice in the end it did take his life sadly missed songs reminds me of my late dad.
my fiance and i are going to play this for our first dance at our wedding :) it was my grandmother's favorite song..i never had the chance to meet her because she died when my dad was only 12 but i hear she was a pretty incredible lady and would like to have a piece of her at my wedding.
@Swecan76 NO DOUBT. As a Sinatra die-hard and Mathis and Bennett fan, I acknowledge no voice compares to Cole's. This is 2:07 minutes of peerless perfection. Wonder what Victor Young (music) and Edward Heyman (lyrics) felt about his rendition. Put to the test, and despite the hundreds, nay thousands, of extraordinary recordings of classic ballads and sundry compositions of greatness, I would place Nat King Cole's 'Stardust' (Hoagy Carmicael-Mitchell Parish) as my deserted island recording.
I m 71 and Nat King Cole along with the platters, the ink spots are some of the my favorites and love thousands of songs, that English, Italian, French and Spanish.
this is the most romantic song i've ever heard in my whole life! it's perfect for every romantic occasion because true love should never be auto tuned!
This is from an era when people could sing it was an age of class. Now they need to take their clothes off and have their voices computerised and still be drowned out with instruments.
I feel blessed to have been raised in this era and have all the classic ballad singers of the 50's,and 60's.And I can still appreciate some of the current artists and have the best of both. It's good to hear someone young say that they appreciate this music.I consider it timeless!
I agree that the music today is much different than the music of the past. I'm from the era where we had music of Elvis Presley The Beatles The Monkees The Beach Boys The Grassroots The Rolling Stones. Then there was The Carpenters and various singers from the 70s and 80s However .Madonna is not in Nat King Cole's league but Madonna is not in the league with Beyonce' or Lady GaGa either, Madonna is much better and she can sing unlike Beyonce' and Lady GaGa
ugly.....bring to mind lady gaga, and vice-versa....tasteless, no talent, degrades womanhood, promotes sluts. ....what say all the beautiful LADIES out there!
Odly enough Nat got his start playing Jazz piano in a band. One night the singer lost his voice and Nat said he could a little. After that night he was the singer!
dumb Lady Gaga? I don't think that's even a right thing to say, no matter what your taste is, and even despite your age. Spiteful people are spiteful. I love Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington and Frank Sinatra but honestly a lot of musicians today are very talented as well, and do not deserve to be called dumb.
Oh, how wonderful, so utterly enchanting! Nat King Cole is simply divine... By Joe, is that Errol Flynn, aha, so it is, what a handsome chap... wait, back to Nat King Cole, mmmm, what a beautiful voice.
okay. please excuse my language but who the hell would dislike this?? honestly??
i'm 18, and i would rather listen to this than dumb "Lady GaGa" any day. I wish i lived in this time, when the word "love" actually meant something. I want this for my wedding song:) and again, sorry. lovely song Nat. just lovely.
@BranHudMapTV I would wager that the majority of them are like me. They loved someone, and this was their song. And they lost that love, so they take it out on the song.
However, I'm not one of those people. :) I still think, though my heart was broken, that this will be my song again one day.
@BranHudMapTV Maybe they're offended by an era when black people could only get parts in movies as performers and caricatures and leading roles were exclusively white.
I'm 21 and I love this song, but I'm suspicious 'cause I like every type of music, 'cause it goes with my mood. And today the word "love" still mean something, you just have to know how to use and when. I'm portuguese and we don't give the same meaning to the word as you 'cause we have many words to describe similar meanings, its very unusual to pronounce it with meaning among young people, but some of them give pretty much importance to it, and I know what that is and hope you to get to know it

@BranHudMapTV people these days are brainless morons who think thier all that , critics of everything , they can do wonders and shit blunders , lol , this man is a treasure , was then , and still is , his voice is timeless , ... yes Im old [ 55 ] but I know that being in love is real, not a drug or video game but real, from the depths of our hearts , . . .
@BranHudMapTV Good for you...for recognizing real talent despite generational differences. That is the point: Real Talent transcends all the fashion and cultural fickleness of the youth, anxious to claim their own pop stars, whether they are worthy or not. Keep looking for the authentic stuff--it's out there, but takes effort and intention to locate.
@BranHudMapTV I really appreciate and love this song to bits but I do not see the need for you to bring our Lady Gaga just to diss her. To each his own, respect others' preferences since you want others to respect yours.
@ieatlotsoftoast lol man,Nat King died in 1965, Rick astley was born in 1966,How the h... could that genious singer copy Rick astley's song before he was born hehe

Why would you dislike this song? Whether you or Black, White, Yellow, Rainbow. Who cares...for myself I am a white 24 year old man..and don't care if MR. NAT KING COLE was purple...I would like him. Cause he CAN REALLY SING and this is a classic. PERIOD!
I'm only 28.. wasn't around then, but I love this type of music.... Today all songs are about lust......... then it was about love.......its nice.just an orchestra and a great voice instead of all the digital stuff for a change
From this to Justin Bieber. Dear Lord. This is music.
