  • Good thing that cocksucker can hold the fucking camera strait

  • @Davefingazhoeznshit Hey! I'm sorry, my nerves are shot for one, and two it's hard to hold a camera straight when you're fanning smoke away from your face with your other hand.

  • @Chimkmunk Fuck you you're nerves are shot, fucking idiotic bitch

  • @Davefingazhoeznshit Excuse me? What the royal fuck did I do to you? I don't get people like you. You watch a video and post mean shit on here, it's rude. Want me to tell you every little thing you do wrong in your videos?

  • @Davefingazhoeznshit Oh, that's right YOU DON'T HAVE ANY. So, fuck you.

  • @Chimkmunk burn....

  • day 'splode 'n da ayer... lol

  • how did you get your hands on that sodium??????

  • poor fish...

  • @crnobijeli13 It's a river, a golf ball size of sodium is NOT going to hurt them. The water will dilute the sodium before any harm can be done.

  • throw soduim in a toilet bowl after flushing then run like hell

  • @link22299 my 6th grade science teacher did that when he was in collage. blew up the water system.

  • @link22299 ROFL!!!!

  • High Dollar Fun!

  • where can i get sodium?

  • where can i get sodium??

  • If you are going to mess with it... it comes packed in alcohol to prevent it getting exposed to air which contains moisture (H2o) which begins the reaction. If you touch it with your skin it will stick and burn because of the moisture (H2o) in your skin. So leave it in the alcohol until ready and toss it with tongs and not your hands! Save you a trip to the hospital and explaining what you are doing with pure Na.

  • @intrptr thats true man. that thing is highly active, i learned the hard way..

  • @intrptr No, it typically comes in mineral oil or kerosene. It reacts with alcohol, albeit more slowly than with water.

  • It's a Redneck field trip...YEEHAA!...toss a nuther one, Cletus!

  • Frag out!

  • How much sodium did you use?

  • @TinaRenee9 A golf ball sized chunk. Not too much

  • dear santa....

  • haha XD

  • Lol..that's awfully healthy for the organisms in that river >_>

  • sodium= Na

    table salt (sodium chloride)= NaCl

  • where the fuck can i get this

  • I really wish the schools in the United States would improve, and SOON. :-(

Both to teach science and to teach some politeness/manners!

  • @LouisLambert What do you mean? What was rude? Also, what needs improving?

  • Lol at 0:34

  • This is terrorist attack on the environment, u thug!!

  • Isn't science wonderful?

  • This is bad for the fish.

  • @itscloudyagain and who exactly would be stupid enough to eat sodium? lol.

  • Because yanno, fish love their daily dose of lye.

  • what wwould happen if someone eat that ?

  • Why do the Americans pronounce Natrium as Sodium and Kalium as Potassium? o_O

  • anyone know a site where i can buy alkali metals?

  • No its just sodium! Salt is sodium chloride. look on the next thing of salt ya but :P

  • Lol did you just call me a butt?!?

    You poopscicle! :-P

  • nah, i meant to put

    "ya buy"

    lol

    sorry for the typo XD

  • @Chimkmunk So do you want me to touch the butt?

  • @PJD1987 Salt is NaCl Sodium chloride yeah, but if u have sodium urself unbinded, it has 1 electron too much, it has 11, 2 on the first circle of electrons, 8 on the next and 1 on the last, Cl its charge is Cl- and Na+ cus of the 1 electron too much, 1Na+ + 1Cl- -> 1 NaCl, it doesnt have a charge anymore cus +1 and -1 is a neutral molecule. but what i was mentioning, 1+ electron makes sodium very unstable with water.

  • @PJD1987 LOL!! :D THAT IS HILERIOUS....

  • @Chimkmunk where or how do you get or make sodium? :D

  • @pairadice49 My science teacher ordered it out of a magazine lol

  • @Chimkmunk shhweetttt.. thanks! how much do you know?

  • @Chimkmunk you have an amazing science teacher if he did this for his students bloody good show

  • @pairadice49 you cant make sodium, its an atom. mass cannot be created neither destroyed.

  • @twigabub yes it can. they do it all the time in particle accelerators. Its energy that can neither be created or destroyed E=MC^2. If you take two particles with a given mass m and send them towards each other at a relativistic velocity v they will gain a kinetic energy (in addition to there mass energy) of 1/2mv^2 each. when they collide, they are no longer moving. conservation of energy causes the energy to take another form. in some cases that energy is converted in to matter.

  • @PJD1987 ur a dumbass

  • @mrbiglipsful I know....... I'm not right (or left) brained. I do music, writing and other creative shit that some science types aren't familiar with. I mean yeah I passed O chem with an A in college and I managed to finagle my way to a B plus in astro phys 1 but truthfully, I'm a dumbass, You heard it here first folks. Someone who uses the word "Ur" for "you're" has called ME (someone who uses full sentences) a dumbass.

Go home. What are you 12?!?! Learn to type like a normal person. Dumbass

  • @PJD1987 oooohhhhh wow im really impressed, u sure called me out, last i checked this was youtube not fuckin english class so i can spell how i want, and ya whered u go to college, a local community college all the local fuck ups go to, im sooooooooo impressed, get a fuckin life

  • @PJD1987 oooohhhhh wow im really impressed, u sure called me out, last i checked this was youtube not fuckin english class so i can spell how i want, and ya whered u go to college, a local community college all the local fuck ups go to, im sooooooooo impressed, get a fuckin life

  • @PJD1987 oooohhhhh wow im really impressed, u sure called me out, last i checked this was youtube not fuckin english class so i can spell how i want, and ya whered u go to college, a local community college all the local fuck ups go to, im sooooooooo impressed, get a fuckin life

  • @PJD1987 oh wow, im sooo impressed, well u must of been cheating cuz theres no way u could of passed any hard chemistry class thinking straight sodium was salt, fuckin idiot, and i believe this is youtube and not english class so i can type whatever the fuck i want, and those college classes u seem so proud of were probally from a local community college all ur local fuck ups go to isnt it?

  • @mrbiglipsful oh my God you totally caught me.

  • @PJD1987 salts are what are formed when an acidic substance and an alkaline substance are mixed. there are uranium salts, ammonium salts, and many others. what you are calling plain old "salt" is Sodium chloride, which IS sodium mixed with something else. when sodium is NOT mixed with something else, it is a violently reactive chemical.

  • @PJD1987 Not True You can just have sodium on its own

if it was combined with somthing it would be a neutral compound

  • @PJD1987 no no. salt is sodium chloride. pure sodium is highly combustable in water

  • @buckeyeboyh5 I see, thanks!

    Why?

  • @PJD1987 To make a big long sciencey explanation short, think of H2O as HOH instead. Well what is happening here is the sodium (Na) is overtaking one hydrogen in this reaction. So instead of HOH the water becomes NaOH + H. What you see here is that H leaving the water molecule. A similar reaction can be seen using many other elements (metals replace Hydrogen or another metal in a compound, there is a scale for which metal overtakes which) , however this is one of the most impressive reactions.

  • @PJD1987 It's sodium *metal*.

  • @PJD1987 NaCl is salt you dipshit sodium is an alkaline metal

  • @Bloodrunner66 First of all, that comment was left a year ago, and second of all, sodium is an ALKALI metal, not an alkaline metal. Alkaline (earth) metals include magnesium and calcium, and they're completely different from alkali metals (for one, they don't blow up if you put them in water).

Don't call people dipshits, especially not if you're wrong.

  • @PJD1987 actually sodium chloride is salt NaCl

  • @PJD1987 2Na(s) + 2HOH(l) --> H2(g) + 2NaOH(aq) The H2 gas ignites and boom!

  • @craigslistseller35 Thanks man! I've been doing some research myself into it!

However, as a law student, science isn't my forte. lol

  • @PJD1987 Salt is Sodium+Chloride

  • @PJD1987 LOL are you stupid or something?

  • @knightmare4321 I am....... However, I am AMAZING in the sack. For more information, ask your mother ;-)

  • @PJD1987

Sodium is a shiny metal that is soft at room temperature and reacts violently with water. Sodium CHLORIDE is salt.

    Go back to school kid!

  • @ophello I didn't know you were gonna be a dick.... awesome.

  • @PJD1987 lmfao

  • @PJD1987 if pure sodium was salt the oceans would be on fire and your mouth would explode when eating salty foods. salt is sodium chloride

  • @PJD1987 Sodium is an alkali metal -_-

  • Flipping schweet. U have da coolest science teacher ever. Mine, on the other hand, is lyke, so soft-spoken. I don't think he would throw sodium in a river...or maybe he would...if he got bored...but then again he told us we could eat baked worms he brought in for xtra credit if we wanted....

  • and ure parents let u do this wow... mine would imeaditly say no lol but nice

  • no i didnt do it my science teacher did lol

  • @Chimkmunk lol then ur teacher as no sense of safety lol no offense though i wish my teacher would let me do that
