Martin HD-35

Sounds great... I have a '70 Martin D-18 that I bought new, and a 2008 HD-35 that I bought used in 2010... I just love it!! It's probably better for strumming than the D-18... the D-18 shines when finger-picked.

I just received my HD-35 from Maury today. It is perfect. The tone is great and the new Martin lifespan strings are great. Great experience.

That is exactly how Jackson Browne plays the song "i'm Alive" Being in open D certainly doesn't hurt the sound of the HD-35 with the vibrant, rich bass.

I have a 19.73 d35 my opion there is know better. I like to get the hd-35 they just might be the best guitars martin makes, besides the d-16 r is right close with them.
