I knew that music from somewhere, I was about to say it, I love dynasty warriors. And Samurai Warriors, except the first one of those sucked. So far all of the music from this video is Dynasty Warriors Music. Good music, good game. The music in that game is pretty immersive too, I think, in that it goes with the situation, ambushes and such. I like it a lot.

In case you haven't already figured it out, you can get around the senate. Start a revolution, attack the enemy in question, then pick republic as your govt again. Repeat as necessary.

A good way to keep the senate from forcing peace on you is to not accept talks with your enemies, like at 2:59 of the video.

Also, science is becoming less and less important at the stage you are since you have discovered most of it already, you should start focusing on taxes soon.
