I desperately need to know where I can buy one of these. Who knows where I can or what the exact model is called? The site linked is down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i'd say its a clock + 4040 controling a vactrol hooked up to a 40106 or such. with one pot changing clock and another one before the vactrol, changing pitch...
Nice cigar box synth! Love it! A question: What did you use for the square wave generator? I've used 555's and 7555's (CMOS) before and it kind of sounds similar. Just curious. Thaks
I've made some analog synths based on the double 555 timers, what they now call an AtariPunk, but sequenced. What you have done here does way beyond what I thought was possible. I'm not even sure what is going on, but I do know that it's awesome! Very nice work!
That's pretty cool. Do you have a link to a schematic or even a site where you sell these? I followed the links you have in the "About" box, but those just go to more videos. Thanks!
yea freezaroid hes touching a synthesizer you dont even know what a synthesizer does.... he's probably messing with an effects box, i don't think he programmed his own reverb.
Your a ass, i mean it would just be a lot easier to have the thing in the vid the thing your manipulating. Always some one trys to call a vid a fake, ALWAYS and i'm just sick of it. Look the sound is changeing when both hands are clearly on the device. i just wanna nip this one in the bud b4 some more people start ranting about how "fake" it is.
I found the schem on your site, kindof minimal sketch but I think I get the jist, I might try and do a variation of this soon.. Keep up the great work!
This vid used to be a lot longer than this, anyone know where I can find the full version???

@extrasuperpowr such sounds can be also produced by a small modular synth. A few doepfer A-100 modules could also do the job - and its more flexible.

If you add a 1MΩ to a 4MΩ Resistor in front of the first capacitor to the ground it should remove the pop when you switch it on...

The item off to his right that he keeps touching is only a distortion pedal. The pedal is only changing the noise slightly.
