the one thing i wish Ruger would put in their 22s is a Last Shot bolt hold open, thats whats in Marlins 22s, but hey, if you enjoy it, thats all that matters, ruger is very reputable
It really seems too easy to aquire a firearm in the U.S.. Don't get me wrong, you seem like a responsible guy, but it's too easy for guns to end up in wrong hands (or stupid hands). Just to be sure, what procedures did you go through to buy this?
cool gun, i personally own the marlin model 60, its lifelong competitor. i have put over a 1000 rounds through mine trying to figure out what it likes. prepare to try different ammo. for me its been the winchester 36g copper plated hollow points. i havent had the time to try my federal bulk ammo yet :(
@yz125racer1 Im not trying to be an ass hole but the Real thing is a lot different than airsoft so be alot more safe especially when getting into higher calibers, i may be young at 14 but ive beean around guns and the proper safety since i was 4 so i have alot of experience, but not trying to be a smart ass im just giving ny two cents.
Nice! Must love your first gun huh! That is really cool bro. Hope you get more when you are old enough for things like AR-15s and 45 ACP Pistols, etc. Hope you have tons of fun. A suggestion of your next weapon, I know it won't be a while until you get your next Real Firearm but when you do, I would prefer/suggest something chambered for 5.56 NATO (not Winchester) for a rifle, or just a classic Colt 1911 for a pistol or even a Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 for a shotgun. Great job being safe!
nice, my first gun was a .22 as well, though not a 10/22 =P i would definitely go for a mosin when you want to get into centerfire rifles. they're cheap, fun to shoot, ammo is cheap. cant go wrong my friend =)
@SuperBradford2 why? what would he need it for. for one like he said he's not 21 nor if he did get a glock the purpose of a nad gun is defense and i do bot think he'd be able to get a conceled carry permit, if his state allows open carry thats a totally different story.
id love one of these, getting somthing like this in the uk is near impossible and overall to own would cost hundreds if not over the £1000 mark. looking forward to future vids :)
nice gun i also recently bought a firearm its a glock 17 gen 3 and im planning to get an mnp 1522 rifle

i like 22s but the bullets are so dirty lol 22 short, long and long rifle are probably the dirtiest cartridge out there so be prepared to clean!

You should have gotten a Marlin 795. Not as customizable but the thing is WORLDS better accuracy wise out of the box.
