@threadpusher I would't get your hopes up! lol... All mainstream music these days is aimed a young girls, Don't even get me started on rap music! Hip hop will most likely always be underground.. I kinda like it that way though.
does anyone else realize how amazing this is? a DJ samples records to interpret a new sound from live instruments. here, live instruments are interpreting the DJ's sampled sound of other live instruments! this dude is taking a hip hop sound and translating it back into live instruments (with his own style on top of it)! i think this reversal says a lot about the artistic value of those hip hop beats in their purest form. i wouldn't classify C.R.E.A.M. as anything but real hip hop.
@dylkim THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF RESPECT IS KNOWING WHATS REAL AND THIS MY FRIENDS IS WHAT HIP HOP IS SUPPOSSED TO SOUND LIKE !!!! LOOK AT GROUPS LIKE THE ROOTS AND T.V ON THE RADIO THIS IS CHANGE MUSIC PPL WAKE UP AND AND LETS CHANGE THE WORLD :)

@ashmore11 aimed at the youth in general. puppets perpetuating stereotypes, and literally brainwashing the youth...thats pop music and pop culture.

Very good take on Wu tang's original C.R.E.A.M, which in turn is an excellent take on I'll never grow old by the Charmels.
