Ol Chet is the master of the dodge. His tone is moderated and his demeanor is respectful, but he just does what his boss Nancy Pelosi wants him to do. He's an expert in dodging hard questions from his constituents and runs like mercury before anybody can get a straight answer. If there ever was a poster child for what is wrong with our politicians, Chet is that child. He's the artful dodger and needs to be replaced in November.
Another Congressman down in 2010. Keep it up. From Weatherford! They just don't get it do they? It is not only their duty to have the town hall meetings, it is their duty to listen instead of spout talking points. Barney Frank is going down too! See those townhalls and the very open hatred he holds for those people.
All of Chet's constituents are hicks like me. But many more will be informed voting hicks next year than there were last year. I personally feel Chet has been away from Texas so long that he's out of touch with the hicks he represents and become part of the problem.
It is sad that nothing of informative value came from My congressman after nearly 7 minutes of him talking. THey have annouced the Radio Conference but here too the guys moderating have been horible at letting him give lies and 1/2 answers. He needs to be challeneged about those lies.
To answer teh question. 29% of AMA Doctors like the plan. Although their leadership signed up the vast huige majority of the members don't like it. Just like the AARP. The leadership is ignoring their members.
Our government is completely corrupt and this is just another example of the so called leaders skating around the tough questions.
The best statement was "are we on the same health care plan?".....it made me chuckle and i bet that town hall meeting hasnt taken place yet.
