hasta hoy me entere que el disco se llama asi porque en el aeropuerto de bogota, un ladron le robo el equipaje en donde se encontraban las letras de las canciones que ella habia compuesto para el disco!!, y le toco volver a empezar a trabajar fuertemente, incluso estuvo a punto de rendirse, pero gracias a su ganas de salir adelante lo pudo terminar de nuevo.

@anddavbay - Gracias pero le seguía a shakira por años y ya sabía todo del incidente en el aeropuerto. Bien hecho- Esta canción demuestra como una artista puede cambiar un disastre a algo éxitoso.
Una gringa arriba no tenía ninguna idea de las letras. Ella piense el titulo signifique donde está la ropa sucia de la puta ? Cómico, eh ? Tuve que explicarlo a ella en inglés. Después, me di cuenta de tu versión.

Esta es la Shakira con las canciones de la cual aprendí español. Su voz maravillosa, brillante, y FUERTE y letras con sentido. Ahora cuando canta en español tiene un acento extraño y las canciones en inglés, pues no ni hablamos de estas. Sin duda, Pies Descalzos y Dónde Están Los Ladrones son las mejores de su carrera a este punto.

I agree with all of you. If I ever decided to buy a Shakira album, it would most definitely be 'Dónde Están los Ladrones (Where Are the Thieves),' not the body-showing, selling-out Jennifer Lopez/Britney Spears/Rihanna/Christina Aguilera bullshit of albums like 'She Wolf' and the two 'Oral Fixation' albums. (Sorry about the BS word; I don't think you need to show your body or sing about silly things to reach a wide audience.)

si, Shaki siempre ha cantado así, y no comprendo el problema que tú ves en su forma de cantar. a mi me parece increíble todo: ella va de los graves a los agudos, su vibrato es increíble, y pocas personas hoy día logran ser originales en realidad, como Shakira ha logrado. creo que el gusto de las personas de latinoamerica está perfecto si a ellas les gusta la voz de Shakira :D

ha cantado Shakira siempre asi? pregunto porque yo no le he seguido la trayectoria. Tiene una voz entonada pero que terrible chilla la voz y no es clara pues canta con la garganta y con la nariz. No se como puede gustar. Creo que el gusto musical de nosotros los latinos se ha deformado muchisimo para que nos guste algo como esta voz pero en fin...

ay pues la verdad shakira sigue siendo la misma aparte tambien tiene que cambiar un poco porq sino se haria monotono lo que aria aparte los artistas buenos como ella siempre tienen que renovarse y probar con cosas nuevas para tener un mayor alcanse en sus carreras ami no me gusta ya tanto pero sigue asiendo buena musica...pero nunca como la de antes pero esta chido que busque nuevos retos

Sim, é verdade, foi inspirada numa viagem que a Shakira fez ao Brasil na década de 90, e onde roubaram uma de suas malas, onde estavam algumas letras que ela estava escrevendo.
