  • Hello stonefisk

I just got an Armex 150lb draw and I don't know what to put behind the target so the bolts don't get shagged, what are you using now the pouffe is dead?

    Cheers.

  • You can buy proper layered crossbow targets, search google.

I do not use the crossbow, it scares me. I should sell it on.

  • Thanks for your help stonefisk, good luck with the sale. (they are a bit scary!)

  • yeah it is, give or take the length of target or how I am positioned while shooting.

  • but still u rock

  • u rock at aiming not that its a challange with scope and 15 yards

  • did you make the target or u bought it for how much??

    thnks

  • Heh, it's an old (1960's?) Pouffe (foot stool). They are made with packed horse hair and felt witha leather or leatherette covering. Cost about 50p from yard sale. It didn't last long before bolts traveled right through, but great while it lasted as it was non damaging to the bolts.

  • Drop a bird the size of a deer with a broad head bolt!

    150lb draw weight.

Any type of bow hunting is illegal in the UK.

  • U should be splitin bolts at that distance.

  • Yes if I was a moron and aiming for end of my bolts and wanting them to be destroyed! Engage brain first next time you make your mouth fart eh?

  • Can buy mine for 150 quid - bolts - wax and spare strings.
