I just got an Armex 150lb draw and I don't know what to put behind the target so the bolts don't get shagged, what are you using now the pouffe is dead?
Heh, it's an old (1960's?) Pouffe (foot stool). They are made with packed horse hair and felt witha leather or leatherette covering. Cost about 50p from yard sale. It didn't last long before bolts traveled right through, but great while it lasted as it was non damaging to the bolts.

You can buy proper layered crossbow targets, search google.
I do not use the crossbow, it scares me. I should sell it on.
