arkadiuszweiss - What a completely ill informed comment. The Ferrai F430 has a normally aspirated a 4.3 V8 that produces 483bhp @ 8500rpm. The Ford GT has a 5.4 V8 with a supercharger and has 550bhp @ 6500rpm. Now, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to work out that the Ferrari has got far more out of an engine than Ford have!

i apologize again. however if you want to claim the gt is not american because of the brakes then you might not call the subaru sti japanese or the aston martin british because they too come from the factory with brembos. however the gt3 gt uses 6 piston AP racing brakes which are american. ford owned aston at the time this car was in production so i dont see how its not american. if you want to get technical then the first vanquish are american because they used fords gt90 v12 concept engine

as for the suspension i could not find anywhere that lotus designed or made it but i did find this quote from the chief engineer of the ford gt "We knew from the beginning that the new Ford GT was going to be a road car, not a race car, so that helped us quickly design the suspension" so im guessing ford designed. however the gt3 gt uses an eibach spring suspension i could see that as one fault being that it is a german company. good day.

Aston Martin - Owned by Ford (still is). All of Aston Martins designs are derived from Ford SVT. Brembo is only Italian...and Lotus is actualy Malaysian (owned by Proton - which is supported by Mitsubishi - the Japanese company supported by GM). So, hmmmm, let me say, it may be as American as New York city.

Actually Mitsubishi is supported/owned by Chrysler. Not GM, which is why the Mitsubishi Marauder is a Dodge Dakota and not a GM Canyon. The old Dodge D150's were nothing more than Mitsubishi pickups.
