I've talked to people who've seen both versions aired in Australia, I saw the NA version in Melbourne my self.

@niatona I seem to remember seeing a more serious version, and the purple butterfly-girl having a much higher voice than the UK one... I hope it was the NA, since the UK translation changed so much and made it sound stupid :/

I find the voice cast to be pretty strong in this. The guy who voices the hero sounds really natural.
