never travelled on more than an 8 hr flight.... food never been a problem !!

i feel the food choice n serving is really good and they give a very good meal, so good that at times the snack before landing is a lot more than expected.... this is my experience on the 10-15 odd flights on the Birmingham / London Heathrow - Dubai route.. the shorthaul DXB - BOM is very good too

I picked up a Emirates 777 on flightradar 24 returning from NewYork and was hoping someone would post a trip report.

It is a 15 hour flight and according to the flightplan it flies over the north pole in a very steep 'n' arc, wasn't aware the INS were capable of flying of flying to very top of the northern hemisphere.

In the UK dubai is almost equal in distance to New York.

@333222107 I have checked many times, paused and played it back and forth at around 05:11 and I believe it say 52,001 feet. That's pretty crazy, I remember flying at 39000 and 42000 but 52000!!!!

So do i, i have lots of friends in the US, i recently flew from JFK to LAX with AA and then LAX to Bangkok with Thai Airways. It was flying in hell to step in heaven when i bordered the Thai Airways flight. And yes AA lost most of my luggage and the food sucked and we where delayed due to technical problems but the gate staff vanished after telling us that. On the Thai flight they gave me too much nice food and i`ve got three blankets and two billows and the FA checked on me time to time to.

Airlines in North America has tons to learn from airlines in the middle east and Asia.

The majority of the big ones in North America treat you like shit from check in to your destination no matter what class you fly in. Maybe this reflects how the state the rest of the country is in. Flying in North America today is HELL.

the orange box is Tempus Telemedicine equipment. It connects to Doctors on the ground via satellite and gives all the related info about the sick person live, when attached to the person. Has video and audio communication as well. :)

@TheSophiieee94 A video camera does not interfiere with cockpit radio communication - unless you are using your phone cam, so its ok to record, so long as you keep it low key. I wouldnt walk up and down the aisle with a HD camera shooting the next Lord of the Rings LOL... cheers and have fun. let me know once you post your video

I dont think flights to new york are really that crammed anymore are they? cause i mean, the A380 proved it hard to fill so they switched the A380 flights to my hometown, which is toronto because this route proved easy to fill.

actually emirates only chose Toronto..because Emirates wants to be the first airline to fly a380 to all destinations! by the end of the year the 777-300ER will be back on the Toronto route and the a380 will be assigned to Seoul!
