lemme just say i used to listen to metallica (i guess the good songs), and one day about 4 years ago, i had to go to pennsylvania with my family to go to a family party and my sis was looking for a cd to bring and mom said i could get one (be in mind i was 15), So i stumbled upon megadeth, played sample songs, and i fucking loved it and to this day, it is my favorite band ever! Nobody has Dave's voice, nobody has the solos like megadeth and the lyrics in every song are so true and catchy.

marty friedman is such a perfectionist when it comes to his playing. i like what he said in a guitar lesson video i saw. he said its good to know theory and all that but its really about playing. while your playing you dont want to be like oook im playing a c# and now im going into a d minor arpeggio. your head will be spinning as you play. its more important to just "play" then to think about every note name your playing
